Don't forget - even if you are having "sit wherever you like" there will need to be a simple way for the guests to be served the right entree if you are having a served meal vs a buffet.  Color-coded cards work well and are fairly easy.

My wedding is June 20th and I know that everything will fall into place but there are a few things that are still up in the air like getting info from our WC about the DJ or music rental equipment. Everything takes forever to hear back. I'm totally patient but I also want to feel like I'm finalizing things.

I feel like I need a book to write down the things I've done and finalize because I might forget.

I've seen a lot of advice given about starting to pack early which is smart and I someone suggested starting to organize papers, receipts and emails so that you have them organized for when you meet with you WC and also for your own peace of mind.

I have a 500 page notebook dedicated to my checklists, guest list, need to do's, what is already set in stone and so on! My advice is stay in contact with your WC at least 2-3 times a week! Nekeisha and I talk at least that amount if not more about my plans and ideas I'm not saying I have absolutely everything planned to a T but it's as close as I can get it living in Canada with a wedding in Jamaica

I'm also going to print off everything I have and color code it in a binder based on vendor, receipts and WC plans

And packing early is a very good idea! Also let's me know if I need more luggage or space for other things! @veryvalentine

Our dinner is actually served by waiters al la carte...so all guests get to pick whatever they want off of the steakhouse menu for dinner. We will actually be waited on instead of just food placed in front of our guests @TAkathy

@IzzyDeee  oh wow, there is no way I would be able to be in contact with her 3 times a week.  I wrote her an email and I get a response about 1-2 weeks later.  It's a slow process for us,  but I was warned it would be like that.

Really?! Holy! Mine was like that probably 6-7 months before our wedding but least last few months responds almost immediately maybe the closer to the date the more responsive yours will become? @veryvalentine

    The struggle is real

Yes!! Definitely do that! I've had mine with the date from the start hopefully that helps a bit!! Could always try resending the emails a few days later if you don't hear back? @veryvalentine

Haha mine got slower AFTER I got my personal WC!!! But I know they had a large turnover then and everyone was doing the best they could. On site I was their #1. So
You quickly realize once you are there why response time is slower.

Yea I think they bump you up in priority the closer to your wedding I've had a personal WC from the very start LOL! Didn't realize some resorts assign them later? I would be way more stressed if that was what they did to me! @calgarybride2015

Yes it was stressful!! I got my WC 1 month out and figured it would be daily communication. Her first couple emails took a week :( then they picked up to daily. All works out though!!!

In the beginning they had a general lady answer all emails. Took 2-3 days sometimes a week.

Holy!!! I couldn't even imagine! I was in contact with Nekeisha over a year and a half ago! At first her emails were maybe once to twice a week, now it's 2-4 times a week depending on how many questions I think if that week @calgarybride2015
