Funny Story!

My last name is David (pronounced Dah-vid it's French lol), and my FI last name is Davidson!!

 

No we are not related lmao! I am Swedish-Canadian and he is Italian-Canadian!

I tell him all the time I'm just going to hyphenate the -son !!

 

Whenever we sign up for something together they always change my last name to his automatically; like I don't actually know how to spell my last name or something haha!

 

Just thought I would share the trials of a couple with very close last names ️!

Soon we will have the same last name though so it won't be so bad!

I just die laughing every time we sign up for anything ️

And believe me I know that can be more than possible lmao I used to spell my name wrong all the time when I was first adopted at the age of 9! Took me a little bit to get used to my new name and to actually respond to it lol!

We've had a few pre destination wedding parties!! It really helped to get all the people who are coming to the wedding together to meet if they haven't and to have a good time!

I would say you guys are cake lovers! And Jamaica will be fabulous. We loved it and totally fell in love with the people in Jamaica. We were married at Gran Bahia Principe Jamaica in Runaway Bay. Great resort!

My FI sister actually got married there 2 years ago this april! One of the major reasons we chose Jamaica is because we fell I love with the ease of the people and the atmosphere! It also helps that they speak English ️ (we were originally thinking Mexico but the language barrier frightened me for wedding planning!) Can hardly believe how soon we will be leaving!! Our Honeymoon is going to be the following week at the iberostar grand rose hall in Jamaica we can hardly wait!! @@acw271011

We've tried a couple of times to get back to Jamaica, firstly for our first anniversary, and for health reasons it hasn't worked out. Like it just wasn't meant to be. So...... since I made it through it all we're renewing our vows in Mexico!

 

But I do miss Jamaica. We'll get back there sometime. Lady Hamilton was our other resort. I got it narrowed down then passed it to hubby (to be at that time) and said pick, and he picked GBPJ. Absolutely no complaints at all but I've heard that everyone that was so fabulous there when e got married have all left. And the section where we stayed is now an "upgrade" and you have to pay extra for it.

That will be amazing! It sucks when it doesn't work out but then something else can come up and make it work a different way! Gotta love the mysteries of the universe

If I could I would even move to Jamaica and just train horses for the resorts! Jamaica just calls to me it seems
