That's ok.. you can't please everyone. My challenge has been trying to incorporate music for the 'older crowd' haha.. Most of my friends and I are 30 or under and have different taste in music than my parents/aunts uncles etc.

Should be fun.. haha

I keep thinking about this and it stresses me out! Most of our guests are also late 20's early 30's but I want our parents and the older crowd to feel included too without excluding the young people and vice versa. So tough.

Don't stress! The DJ generally knows what to play just pick a few you'd like to hear to let him/her know what style you're into @TinkerSofi

I can come up with a playlist no problem but I always worry people will get bored or something haha. If I got paid to worry I'd be a millionaire by now.

It's just a big price difference between hiring a DJ and the sound system so we're going with a sound system :)

@TinkerSofi We are in the same boat. We are paying for the sound system, but depending on our own playlists. I've had this struggle of thinking that the music isn't going to please everyone.. It worries me a lot! I think i'd also be a millionare if I were paid to worry haha

Why don't you ask a couple of your guests to write down 3-5 songs they would like to hear? @TinkerSofi @perianjay

I definitely plan to take some requests.. not too many though. I know if my parents had their way they would want a lot of older music played, but the majority of my guests are younger

it's a good idea to ask people a song that they would like, especially those that are older maybe. Although when I went to my friend's wedding she had all new music and the groom's dad did not leave the dance floor. That guy is just awesome. So you never know, people might surprise us I guess ahah.

@TinkerSofi I totally agree haha. I know my parents are going to have fun regardless because they are really young at heart. I'm sure they will be up and dancing anyway!
