Any Ontario Brides To Be Of 2015?!

Recommended Posts

2016, not 2015 so not too soon :)

STDs should arrive this week and will go out next week.

Went dress shopping for the first time this past Thursday. Was able to confirm it is fit and flare I want but definitely didn't find "the one". My mum surprised me when we got there with my "Mrs. Romeo" hanger.

I ordered our vow books today too.

Almost finished my bridesmaid proposal boxes - mini champagne, makeup bag with mini toiletries, note pad, hand made cards, luggage tags and passport holder. Waiting for etsy to ship the luggage tag and passport holder.

And that's all I've done :) Can't wait to start the fun stuff once people start booking.

You're SO close. I'm jealous!!!!

You are off to a good start!! It's fun isn't it? Post your BM gifts once they are done if you can, they sound awesome :)

I had a hanger quite similiar to yours - did your mom get it off etsy? post-277873-142832575348_thumb.jpg

@@calgarybride2015 thanks! My mum found the lady on etsy but she went and met her to pick up and pay for the hanger to avoid shipping charges.

I told her she needs to teach me her etsy ways because I bought two of my gf's hangers and paid more in shipping than I did for the hangers lol

So true!   I always search for Canadian vendors first as their shipping (most of the time) isn't horrendous.   There was a few things for the wedding I HAD to have, where I had to suck up shipping - labels for my tumblers and my blume box vases, otherwise I was mindful.   I also made a trip to the USA as I had some stuff shipped there to save on the cost.  Have you considered this? It's called 'border shopping' I think and you can use sites like kinetic and ship to their 'depots' in each border city. Neat idea!

You Bouquet is Beautiful!!

Our Wedding is November 22nd 2015 :) 230 days!!

Your getting married on my birthday :)

Beautiful!! and I know what you mean! We were expecting maybe 20 guests but we are gonna have around 50 also!! I'm only using the hotel for the WC and my hair services! I have a very close family friend who is an amazing photographer (her daughter stood up at my adoption, and is now standing at my wedding as well!) so we gave her one of our free trips and she's going to shoot the whole week for free for us!! Can't wait! I'm getting kevan stewart for a DJ because he pays his own vendors fee and my MOH is doing my makeup! My wedding colors are purple gold and ivory! (I find the blues to be very played out) so wanted something different for my wedding

@@IzzyDeee, I messaged him on facebook and he told me his fee is $760USD for 4 hours and it doesn't not include the vendor fee. Is that what your paying?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
