Toronto - but a 2016 bride (Jan). I looked at my countdown and it was 299 - I was just excited to be out of the 300s LOL!

I was high 200's when I made my wedding webpage (had a count down ticker) and I've now been married close to 2 months. It will whip by before you even know it :)

248 days!!! November 20 2015 is our day!

We actually had some engagement photos taken at Timmies! LOL It was our first date spot, and I really wanted some pictures to capture where it all started.

The sad part ladies - Tim's was bought by Burger King so not as Canadian anymore as everyone likes to think! lol Plus, we can now stop at Tim's as far south as Kentucky! And more are popping up all over the US!!

And I can't even pop a photo of my e-ring cuz hubby bought it in Mexico!! lol And wedding band was bought in the US.

But it is still thought of as Canadian which in truth it is Canadian through and through no matter what since it started here

and you can still post a pic even if the ring isn't Canadian, I love to see them haha!! @@acw271011

Thanks ladies!

To be honest we didnt do it for the Canadian aspect, we did it because I am a romantic who wanted a picture of us where it all started, and he loves me enough to go along with my overly romantic and mushy side! LOL

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
