Leaving On Saturday!

Recommended Posts

Thanks everyone. I found some dresses and ordered them from lulus. If I have time I'll take one last trip to the mall . Tonight I'm going to finish packing, finish my vows, and work on half the music recs. weds finishing up music. Thurs nails and eyebrow wax. Friday leave from work to my parents and then super early Saturday taking a limo to the airport ( bringing champagne too) !

I'm going to try hard to enjoy the moment and not care about little things ( it's so engrained in my personality though!) I hear from everyone they wish they would have let everything go and just had a blast bc it will be over so fast.

Not going to lie, already getting a little sad ( I'm so weird) that it's going to be over before I know it...hundreds of hours of planning and lots of excited family and friends!

Wedding is Friday march 27!

Thanks everyone! We are here safe and sound ( after some snafus nothing major just "lost" passports and trying to figure out people's arrival shuttle info stuff like that ) most people are here with another batch coming today and a few more stragglers during the week. We had our trash the dress the pics were awesome! ( my bros a photog) including a pic with a baby sea turtle crawling its way to the ocean! Not going to lie it's been a bit stressful trying to hang out with groups and we still have stuff to do ( welcome bags, meet w planner, assemble some wedding stuff ) but I'm trying to enjoy as much as possible as it is already flying by! I just want to drink by pool ( and I def intend to!)

Glad it's been going ok!! Forget about the past and just enjoy the week!!!! Employ your lady friends to help finish the wedding items- trust me they love this stuff. I had about 6 girls help me and we plowed thru it in like 1 hour. Probably less but we laughed a lot :) yay so soon now!!!

Can't wait! the things I am doing now are haha buying a rehearsal dinner dress- so if anyone has cute ideas with 2 day shipping let me know- picking out some songs for the dinner, dj, and packing.

Any last minute advice?

When I come back I was thinking of doing a post planning thread lol- I made a lot of cute things but never got around to doing a planning thread

Try to relax, don't sweat the small things. Just enjoy your hubby and guest. Congrats:)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
