I'm getting a fake tan too...Only because I'm gonna burn if I don't...even with 60spf on I burn, so base tan it is. You are so on top of everything! You have no need to worry! I wish I was 50 days out again so I could get some stuff done...it just flies by!!

I've been looking into the GoPro but I'm having a hard time figuring out which one to get and what accessories are needed...where did you buy yours?

@@Meandhim @ I'm thinking of getting a base coat too before I leave...mainly because I still have tan lines from 2 years ago (i'm not even kidding). I think I mentioned my 'headlights'(as Sean likes to call them) at our last GTA meet up. They just never see the light of day and the tan lines will show with my dress.

I also have this really great sunscreen it's only SPF 30 but I tested it out in Sept when I was there and I didn't burn at all and I usually burn pretty easily. I was a lobster at my cousin's DW. The ingredients are also really safe to use (one of the few that they let into ecological parks like Xcaret). It's a little pricier but I think it's worth it not to get a burn. Let me know if you want more info and I can PM you the details! :)

Me too!! I burned my first trip to Mexico pretty bad and I can still see the lines from 3 years ago!

I started fake tanning but ran out of time. You need a month or more to really get a tan so get on it ladies. I went for three weeks and you could barely tell lol

I am fair skinned so I didn't go for long periods. Maybe 7 mins then worked up. That said I used SPF 60 every hour and did well. You just have to apply apply apply. After my first oops I learned my lesson. I personally also feel the spray sunscreen works better.

You could also buy 110. It's harder to find but it's out there.

Go pros rawk. We don't have one but do have a waterproof Olympus and best money we spent :)

My photographer keeps telling me he can work magic but can't photoshop sunburns! So I'm going to be very careful in Jan!

@@Meandhim sorry to post a photo on your thread, that was silly - I got caught up in sunburn talk...you can totally delete this!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
