Recommended Posts

I love how everyone is stacking their rings.  I didn't know this was a 'trend' until you ladies starting posting pics.

I would love a dainty diamond band to go with my dainty twisted band, but didn't really think I could or that it would look good.... but you guys make me believe I can, so thanks :)

Your band is gorgeous!!! just what I would want too!

@@acw271011 thats awesome. Mine is from Charm the diamond center. I didn't see one at peoples like that. The ones she was showing me there were all too chunky and stole the show from my engagement ring. Would have been nice to have them all from the same store but I also love my weddings bands.

I love the stacked bands, too! My e-ring is probably actually an eternity band, so I'm hoping to slowly add a few more bands over time. Hadn't thought about the mismatched gold - love that idea. I was talking to a woman at work who has a beautiful e-ring with a band on either side. She told her hubby that 2 bands is normal haha. He even commented about "poor so and so" (a friend of theirs) because she only got one band LOL

Hahaha that's hilarious and he doesn't even know he's the 'sucker'. I wonder when the 2 bands even started? I had never heard of it until I started looking!

We brought the Bose speaker with us camping this weekend to see how it runs with the Bluetooth and battery life. We figured being outside would give us a good idea how the sound will carry on the terrace and at the restaurant and it was so worth the $219 that it cost. It's perfect!!! And will be great for camping and stuff after Mexico. Doug is going to try and do a 5 hour program off Spotify so that after the renewal we can get it to the restaurant and set it and forget it.

So I did something a week ago. I had to think long and hard about it but I'm sooooo happy with my decision. I bought another dress. There was just something about mine that was bugging me and after getting so overheated while I had it on I went looking. I tried on about 7 styles in a salon and just couldn't get it right. I gave up and was just leaving the store and I stopped to look at 2 dresses that I had missed. I loved both of them, absolutely nothing like what I had been looking at. The lady in the store said come on, just try them on and see. I liked both of them so much, for totally different reasons, it took me nearly 20 minutes to make up my mind. I did, she checked and said there were 2 in the warehouse in Toronto and put the deposit down. It's Sophia Tolli and for some reason already available here. Now I have to try and sell my other one and thankfully the lady had other things on the go so hadn't started the alterations on it. Means I can sell it unaltered. I'm not going to post a pic of the new dress yet. I'll wait until Saturday the 12th when I go in for the alterations. It has already arrived in the store. I got a call on Friday afternoon. It's quite a bit plainer than the original one but I'm going to ask the seamstress to bling it up just a little. Stay tuned.....

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
