Any One Else's Fiance Stubborn?

@@acw271011 - Haha my DH says "pow right in the kisser to me" all the time while pretending to punch me.  He thinks he's being hilarious

@@kcole123 - I would probably just find some watches online to show him in the price point, ask him casually what he thought and if he liked them, then order them.  My DH was pretty agreeable on everything but not if it meant he had to put in effort to go shopping or get things himself (lazy).  So for the most part I'd just show him things and he'd be like "yeah, great." Then when the credit card bill came, I just reminded him that he had agreed haha

We got our groomsmen Herschel gym bags (ravine duffel).  They were pretty cool looking and we got them at a discount on black friday.  My DH got himself one too b/c he liked it so much

So frustrating!  I would definitely agree with the rest of the ladies.  I very much agree with the point that was brought up that not only will they feel like it was an after thought if he gives his groomsmen a gift after, but it is also embarrassing and awkward for you.  I would hate to have hard feelings from the groomsmen on the wedding day.  Imagine how bad he will feel if he does eventually regret that he didn't get them anything.

If it's the money that Is making him not want to spend right now, you could always try shopping at an outlet.  We discovered the Premium outlets and fossil has amazing sales.  50% off.  Our groomsmen got some really nice gifts from us and we managed to keep it on budget.

Good luck with this one!  :)   I think you should stand your ground.

It took a while to convince mine that we even needed OOT bags. He said "why?" so I told him that it was just a thank you for people spending so much money to come to our wedding. Well, his response was "whatever, they're going on vacation, they're not doing this for us"   What??! hahah Eventually I managed to convince him that while yes, it's a vacation, we're basically dictating where they're going so in a way they are doing it for us. Then he agreed to do OOT bags :P

Juan can sometimes be a little rough around the edges when it comes to decorum but then he usually comes around. He never understands why some things we need to do, even if we don't want to, just to be polite :P .

Holy crap they are alike. Nathan said that too...lol He comes across as being ungrateful for the things he says but deep down he appreciates people going. But in turn he thinks well it's their choice we didn't force them.

That's exactly what Juan thinks. I know what he says is usually coming from a good place, but not everyone might perceive it that way.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
