@@NikkiMarie05 is the resort charging you a vendor fee to bring in an outside makeup artist? Who are you using and if you don't mind do you have info on the pricing? Our wedding is May 9th! @@IzzyDeee we arrive on the 6th! Good luck with everything. She is very hard to get info from. She will answer maybe one of three questions I ask.

Say the person is a relative if they are on your flight. My maid of honor is doing my makeup and I have a really close family friend who is a photographer who is coming for the entire week! Just going to say she is my aunt so you don't pay vendor fees. @@Megg

Are you doing programs? We leave in a week and a half... I probably could get them done but I almost feel like we don't really need them.

Christina my wedding coordinator is charging me like $90 to bring the lady in from offsite and I believe it's going to be like $150 for makeup and eye lash extensions.

I'm thinking the same thing... They haven't even told me the name of our officiant. Have they told you? Are you sending how you want your wedding script to be read?

Who are you having be the usher and walk your moms down the aisle? I just realized that we don't have one! Lol.

No idea what the name is LOL, and we're doing a civil ceremony also! I'm not going to have ushers at my wedding; the couples will walk together and my mom who is single will follow behind, then the bridemaids and then me haha!

Oh that's not as bad as the $350 vendor they are charging for our photographer. But the guy is taking that cost off his package. We are not doing programs. We have about 15 people attending. they all know what the plan is and of they forget, it's so a small group we will see them and tell them again.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
