Ring-Proof Ring Finger

Recommended Posts

I love that you're honoring your children during your ceremony! absolutely love it!!!

Hey thanks mama! Skipped sand ceremony and wanted the children to be incorporated. My officiant, Petra Rattue (amazing) even incorporated a short little fictional story about family and team work towards the end of our ceremony!

FI is a "automotive collision repair tech" -- he fixes wrecked cars and he hates when I say mechanic-because he's not.  But anyway.  He's also a volunteer firefighter.  Needless to say, daily wear of a ring is impracticable and dangerous.  So he came up with the idea that he would get a "nice" ring for weekends or when we go to weddings, fancy stuff.  Then, he is getting silicone bands to wear daily which I never knew existed, he found them! Look at him all determined to wear a ring.  Anywho They're like those livestrong bracelets they sell and they are like $20.  They're designed to break under 40lbs of pressure so if it get stuck on something it will snap much faster than his finger will break.

I also found this which is pretty cool.  It's for when your knuckles are much bigger than the top of the finger :)

I have a QALO (Quality . Athletics . Love . Outdoors) ring for when I'm working out and lifting weights. Might even use it when hiking or doing something where I don't want my shiny ring to get dirty. They are silicone rings and some of the rings are in support of different things like lupus or breast cancer and so much of the proceeds go to these charities and what not. They are for both men and women and come in so many colors! post-283167-143412045907_thumb.jpg

@@snswedding2016 This would be a great thing for him then! I love wearing mine when i'm working out. I usually feel naked without my e-ring now so I have to have something on at all times haha. My fiance thinks its silly that I got one, but he might not think its silly once he has a nice ring to wear and doesn't want to ruin it.

@@yycbride2016 I just called my fiance about it and he's pretty excited, he was like "sold! Get it!" lol! I'm going to get one too. I take my ring off a lot (doing housework, helping my fiance with renovations etc.) and I agree with you I feel very naked without a ring now, so this will be a nice replacement.  :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
