Hilton Rose Hall October Bride

Tai Floral is also the vendor for Iberostar. From what ladies have said responsiveness is an issue and they are more expensive than outside vendors, but their quality seems to be okay. At Iberostar you don't get charged for an outside vendor if they just drop the flowers off - then the wedding coordinators set them up. If they came on site to set things up or decorate there would be a fee. So you could ask about that. Most ladies seem to use Floral Fantasies or Jan's and have been very happy!

@@Sandraco8....the Iberostar wedding planners are great.  When I had my tours (I actually toured them twice)....I loved their attention to detail and the fact that they went over the packages with me to show how I could save money.  However, October 10th was booked, but I believe they told me that October 9th was available but that was many months ago.  I will keep my fingers crossed for you!!!  :)

Tai Flora is the flower person for all of the resorts in that area.....Royalton White Sands uses them also and Tai can be expensive.  I am waiting to get a final count of guests then I decide about letting them do my centerpieces or will I do them myself.

Please let me know if Iberostar has your date available.

@@FutureMrsGlover I just heard back from Iberostar and they don't have my date available :(

I also just received the quote from Tai Flora.....I almost fainted lol!

I reached out to Jan's Flowers. They are not a preferred vendor for Hilton but have great reviews on this site and their prices are reasonable. I can email you their 90 page brochure including pictures if you send me your email address.

@@beckys98 recommended Floral Fantasies so I just emailed them as well.

Thank you all for all of the wonderful support and information!

@@Sandraco8....I am sorry to hear that.  :(     I was really surprised at the number of weddings that happen in Jamaica and the number in October.   Yes, Tai Flora is expensive but it seems she has a monopoly with the resorts in Jamaica.

My email is Letitia_leaks@Verizon.net

Did you check out the Royalton White Sands or Secrets?   Just giving you a few other options in Montego Bay.  Half Moon is absolutely beautiful however, they are expensive.

@@FutureMrsGlover I just sent the catalog to you. They just responded with their proposal and it is a quarter of the cost of Tai Flora.

I would need to pay Hilton a $500 fee because they are not an approved vendor but hoping to find a way around that or a compromise. Fingers crossed again! :)

I used Tai Flora for our flowers and I thought they were great! Yes - they were just a bit slow to reply to emails, but not enough for me to worry about in the least. There is another florist that the girls in Jamaica use - Jan's. With Gran Bahia, it was a mix of who the girls used and honestly, you have to take a long look at what you're looking for as to who is more expensive. I found them very reasonable in terms of pricing. I sent a picture and design of what I wanted and they did it. My flowers lasted for days after my wedding. In fact I brought them home with me, and they were real flowers. Not silk. I would definitely recommend them. And the girls that used Jan's said the same thing. So it comes down to what you want.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
