Hello ladies,

Wondering if anyone has any suggestions for the buffet menu?
I'm going to be booking three private events..

-Welcome Dinner

-Rehearsal Dinner

-Wedding Reception

There's quite a number of options for the buffets and i'm looking for some guidance on what was good/bad etc.

    Following!!!

    We've chosen the Superior Hors D’Oeuvres and for dinner the Roman Buffet with a couple changes;

    - Swap the Siracusa Fish for Fish fillet with almond butter (from International 2)

    - Swap the Marsala Escolopini for beef medallions with prosciutto in mushroom sauce (from Mediterranean)

    - Add Mashed potatoes

Would love to hear some reviews... I very much enjoyed all the foot at all the restaurants at Beach Palace so I'm sure all the menus will be fine, but I haven't found much written about the event menus.

@LauraM I've been to Palace as well and had a pretty good experience with the food. I think I'm looking at the international buffet and the mediteranian as well.

I think I heard that the Mexican buffet wasn't great..

How many events are you having? We're also having a welcome dinner and rehearsal dinner so I have to pick three buffets.

@perianjay I remember reading the same about the Mexican (unfortunate, it would be fun to have a Mexican themed dinner, being in Mexico and all). We're still on the fence about maybe requesting table-side guac or mayan coffee just to give a little cultural flare.

We're only doing the one event (reception). We had planned a welcome brunch but decided to cancel it because we didn't really want to spend any additional time/money/stress. It's nice that you'll be able to pick three buffets, you'll have plenty of variety. I just wish it was more of a mix and match rather than set menus, though being able to swap/add a couple things is helpful.

We did the Caribbean, BBQ and Italian buffets w/ a few subs.  BBQ and Italian were great,  Caribbean was not.  I've actually heard the Mexican buffet is really good which makes sense.

We tried the Mexican apps and the Cold Apps w/ a few subs in each - both were really really good.

@LauraM Love the idea of the Mayan coffee or the table side guac!!

Yea, I definitely think i'm going to try to substitute some items as well.

@tygrrlily Good to know! I was thinking of the Italian for sure.. it was just deciding on the other two.
