You're right! At least I don't have to worry I'm forgetting things and also have a record of what we've requested for when I get there and meet the coordinators.

Is it bad that I am 8 months out and I just want it to be here already? LOL

I kind of just feel like I am ready to be married already. Ready to be husband and wife. Ready to move on to the next stage of life. How did you ladies get through this and make it to the 3 month our mark without driving yourself insane? LOL

Nope, I felt the same way!...and still do. I am so over wedding planning. Less than 2 months to go... I think I can, I think I can.

@@pddcmc it is nice to know I am not the only one. I seriously think that being a hopeless romantic about our wedding date is coming back to bite me-at times. I often think if I would have just chosen a random date, we would be so much closer to our wedding then we are now.  Oh well, after November we have the rest of our lives, and will always have our special day.

I was getting stir crazy at like the 6-8 mo mark but now we're at the 1 mo mark and I'm getting sad that it's almost over! I don't even care so much that the wedding would be over but Im not going to have vacation for awhile after this and also never again will travel with this many loved ones!

I'm truly just as excited for the vacation with my friends and family as the wedding itself (maybe even more so!)  That's why destiation weddings are so amazing, we have an entire experience to look forward to instead of just a day!

Agreed! I am stoked to have my children, husband, my best friend and family together in a tropical setting!

I have always wanted that and that's why we chose a DW. I have already booked swimming with dolphins for my children and deep sea fishing for the guys, not like wedding excursions or formal things but just vacation things.

Really excited to have a vacation and a wedding!!! Looking at my currently 1&7 year old children's little faces on their passport makes me smile!

Agreed! And when that day is over in a flash and you worry if you spent enough time with everyone you don't have to panic -- you still have a couple / few days after to spend with them :)

Soooo exciting! :)  We haven't had a REAL vacation (that wasn't a business trip or local related) in forever so we are pretty excited to share this moment with our daughter. The last trip we took together was in Miami for a destination wedding but we didn't stay long and our daughter was just barely a year old. This is going to be our last vacation in awhile so I cannot wait to enjoy it.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
