We would love to hear where your guy is getting his wedding day duds.   We're looking for a light tan/beige/sand color ensemble that consists of pants and a matching vest.  He prefers something light as Mexico will be muy caliente in July!  :)

Can't help here - I ask my fiancé every couple weeks what he wants to wear and he hasn't even thought about it, other than that he doesn't want to wear a jacket. He doesn't really want to wear a tie either.  He is also not a linen pant/untucked shirt kind of guy either! He is pretty fashionable and wears more fitted clothing...so I don't know. I'm literally leaving it 100% up to him to figure out! Knowing him, he'll get something about a week before we go...

My sister got married in mexico in July and the groom wore grey pants, white shirt, grey vest, tie. Looked great!

My fiance and I also didn't really want the untucked look or shorts. We're going with pants, vest, dress shirt (rolled sleeves) and a tie. This is our inspiration but we're going with light grey (pants and vest) and a white shirt.

We were going to go the custom route but kept finding bad reviews on places we initially liked. I ended up getting a 40% off purchasing from Moores from a Bridal Show and we found a nice light grey option. This also makes it easier as our groomsmen are in different cities.

We're having our wedding in August, so just as hot as July :P. We didn't want to go for a beach casual look so the groomsmen will be wearing grey summer dress pants from Express. They're sort of a cotton, stretchy fabric, they're pretty comfy according to Juan and they always seem to have sales like buy one, get one 50% off. Then we'll pair that with white shirts and a tie or bow tie with suspenders.

Juan will be wearing a suit, at least for the ceremony. He wants to get it at Hugo Boss but I finally convinced him to go with a light color (he wanted navy originally).

My fiancé is also wearing the Perry Ellis linen suit in the light beige color. He purchased the three pieces: pants, vest, and jacket. The groomsmen got the vest and pants. Fiancé only plans on wearing the jacket for the ceremony and will cuff the sleeves for reception.

Studio suits website is a great option if you want to go the custom route. We loved the site but ultimately chose Perry Ellis instead because you have to rely on measurements with studio suits and we have 6 groomsmen. Not something we wanted to tackle! Good luck!

The first pic is my FI's signature look! If he can only find it in gray and linen.

Perry Ellis is our backup. The outlet stores have the tan linen pants, vest and jacket 60% off.

I think we're just going to do a beige suite rental with jacket vest and pants. Same deal - jacket for the renewal only, then I'm pretty sure it will be vest only. I'm trying though to get the coloured vests. One in turquoise and one in pink for the colours. My husband did the linen shirt and linen pants when we got married. It was ok but made the pictures too casual looking back on it. The suit is super lightweight for destinations so should work out ok.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
