Looking to purchase a WallyBag off of Amazon since I haven't had much luck finding one second hand.

Not sure if i'm willing to invest in the tri-fold bag since $160 seems like a bit much, but I'm looking at the 52" WallyBag with the shoulder strap.

Has anyone had experience with the length? I'm wondering if 52" will be ok for my wedding dress.

I'm not getting any alterations to the length of my dress since I am a taller bride (5'8)... So I'm not sure if this will make a huge difference or not.

Would love some tips though before I invest in the $80.

Also, If anyone is selling their 66'' Wally.. please give me a shout! I will gladly purchase

I couldn't spend for the 66" one either.  I got the 60" one which is considerably cheaper and it was fine - my skirt had a small train. I got it more for peace of mind than anything - it's of a much thicker and durable fabric than the bridal garment bag.  I just put that into the Wally bag.  It was very convenient at the airport being able to fold it over

@tygrrlily Luckily I found someone selling their 66" bag today for $75. I couldn't resist that price. She lives in Calgary, but says she is probably coming to Toronto in the spring and can meet up with me.

You're so lucky @perianjay! Did you find the seller on here? Maybe I should look around. I was going to buy tygrrlily's but the shipping cost too much!

@Wafflesmom How much was the shipping? out of curiosity? (just in case I need mine shipped).. I didn't find her on here, someone on a facebook group posted and offered to sell it to me.

@perianjay shipping was going to cost around $22. Lily was sweet enough to advice me that after shipping costs, it wasn't worth it and that I can basically just buy it new for that price.

@Wafflesmom Ahh very true! If you are looking into the smaller WallyBag, then you should check out Amazon.ca They were having a sale on them yesterday when I checked. I was almost going to buy the 52", but I am a taller bride and my dress has a small train so I don't want to risk it.

And yet another reason why I love this forum.  I never even thought about a Wallybag.  All these little hidden expenses.  *sigh*

Maybe I'm just naïve but I thought the dress would come with it's proper bag, but I guess not?

It's not naive. I didn't appreciate the plastic bag mine came in so got a fabric one from David's bridal for $15. It was more than enough but it's all on preference.
