Hope everything goes exactly as you want it to and that it's all that you dreamed. That's an awesome idea on the wedding band and such a sweet gesture! Great on the flight for getting the extra day. It sucks getting to a resort late at night. The welcome books are too cute and turned out great!!

All the best and looking forward to seeing pics when you get back!!

Hi ladies!

I picked up the Groomzillo's wedding band today.  I love it!!!! It's so pretty.  He's going to be soooo surprised.  He has seen the band but not the sapphire.  He won't see it until we exchange bands at the wedding!  yay!!!

Omg, so I thought I was all set to go, but yesterday when I picked up my dress it turns out it wasn't ready.  They didn't complete the bustle properly so I have to go back on Friday to pick it up.

I'm also having last minute veil second guesses.  I was going to go with a birdcage but now I'm thinking full out veil....ahhh.

I'm all for full on veil. I don't know why I think it would look great with your dress :)

The ring is perfect. He is going to love it. Sorry to hear about your dress. What an added stress :/

It's common to second guess everything the last couple days. I sure did. I was in michaels the day before we left. At this point id probably stick with what you have. Ie - can you get a veil off the rack? Is your hair piece going to work with it? Will you need to change your style? Ahhh you don't need the stress. The birdcage will be beautiful.

I do agree with @@calgarybride2015 though. I think if it creates more stress, definitely stick to what you have. I find birdcages look weird on me so I'm biased haha. Maybe try a few things on and try to envision it all put together. If you like either one I'd stick with what I have. I am all too familiar with second guessing my things last minute and I'm really trying to control myself. I think either way you can't go wrong ;)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
