@@calgarybride2015  I agree!  We basically packed all our wedding related things into two luggages.  We have 2 luggages left for our personal belongings, clothes etc etc.

It feels so great to know that we are all packed up!  Yay!

thanks ladies!  @@Wafflesmom @ @@TinkerSofi

So we heard from our WC and it turns out she won't be there the day of our wedding!!  I'm kind of annoyed.  We bought her 100 lindt chocolates and everything and put together a little thank you basket.  Now we have some other WC and I really hope things go smoothly.  I'm sure it will but it is annoying as you kinda feel like you've gotten to know this person a tad through emails.

I am putting together my final list of things to do.  One of my bridesmaids curated a reception dance party playlist.  I should share it so that you ladies have some inspiration.

I have been so impressed with the FI as he's suddenly become a graphic designer.  We finished our Welcome books, menus, wedding itinerary, thank you letters everything and are getting back from the printers today.

Here's a few things he worked on for us.

Love those designs, especially the door hanger. The FI should get an Etsy shop too!

Your guests are going to be so impressed with everything you've planned for the wedding  :)

I MEANT to start packing last weekend, but nothing actually made it into a suitcase! Haha. So you're better off than we are! I keep looking at the wedding stuff and the carry on sized suitcase I intend for it to fit inside and scratch my head. We also def should have registered for luggage...we didn't register at all and now I think that was an opportunity missed ;)

Love!! I really wish I had used the design on your door hangers for our wedding too! Can't wait to see it all pulled together.

Ps - my friend who attended the wedding at your resort said it was beautiful and very well done.

Wow, you and you FI are so talented! I love the do not disturb signs, they go perfectly with your theme! If you don't mind me asking, which etsy store did you get the lip balm from? I love the design too.

I'm sorry to hear about the change in wedding coordinator. I sure it will work out well. I'd be concerned too but with your organization skills and attention to detail, I'm sure the new coordinator will not have any problems figuring things out.

AWww thanks ladies!!

@@beckys98  I owe you an email!! i'll email you later today ;)   Did you get ahead with the long weekend?  I was honestly dreading the reality check of packing but honestly just do it, it feels so great once you do.  I definitely agree about finding a proper carry on bag.  I still haven't figured that out yet.  I'm definitely going to have to put some thought into it.  I'm worried about my luggages getting lost.  I would be so sad.  I'm sure i'm not the first or last bride to think of that and I'm sure things always, usually work out but still...

@@calgarybride2015  It's so nice to hear that your friend had a great experience.  We are so excited.  I thought of you when I packed my tumblers as I remember reading over and over your thread about how to pack them.  Did I make this up, or did you include a paper insdie the luggage with the count of all your items and the explanantion of what it is for?

@@Wafflesmom   I absolutely do not mind at all sharing the Etsy artist.

We were so happy with them and you can chose some fun flavours or scents I should say.  There are a variety of different designs and also custom options.  She's so nice to deal with as well.

I started my wedding binder!  This has also allowed me to feel super organized.  All our contracts, vendors agreements, receipts, guests arrivals and departures, photographer contract, everything that is wedding related is in there.

I figured it would be help for customs to see that we are in fact getting married.  Also keeping all the receipts for the items we are bring down as i've heard it's a must to avoid issues.  None of this I would actually know without this amazing forum.

:D

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
