OMG  congrats 100 lbs!    I won't be losing another 10lbs this week.  I'll be lucky if lose 2 this week.  I'm mostly trying to focus on inches because that's what will ensure I fit into my dress :)

I may have lost 7 my first week so I figured that was all water. That was so long ago lol. I fell off track around the wedding and have 15-20 to lose and it's hard!! Trying to follow the plan that worked before but no results yet - will give it 2 weeks and come up with plan b. hahaha my weekends are hard. Love beer :)

Woohoo, congrats on all the good news @@veryvalentine! I'm so happy to hear about the weight loss and especially the inch loss. That's so exciting. Good for you for being so disciplined!

And I'm so happy to hear about $200 off. That's such a great price!

Sparklers for our first dance!

In the past I've never been too interested in the first dance portion of weddings.  It's the truth.  I'd snap the quick pick and then head to the bar.  I wanted to do something to make our guests also feel involved so we decided to have our guests light our first dance with sparklers.

Our hotel, the Grand Sunset Princess allows sparklers in the beach area, so that's what we will do!

I printed some tags to place on each sparkler. We will have these as part of the table setting for each guest. Our colours are coral and gold.  I am not a huge fan of the colour of paper but the FI just told me that he can order some gold glitter paper that you can actually print on.  So that would probably look amazing.  This is what we have so far.

This is the vision

Those are great :) the guests will love it .... And will create such a beautiful photo.

As another idea, you can get gold shimmer paper at Michael's as well. It was the larger size ?12x12 and sometimes they have them on for 20c each. I used the silver and champagne colors for our wedding.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
