Totally agree with you.  I think we will go with the message in a bottle.  The drinks seemed like soooo fun but they have to be done before hand and the people giving the drinks away are not going to know if someone grabbed the correct drink.  I could see it being a bit of a mess.  Message in a bottle we can prep before hand and I think it's just the best idea.  I was thinking of wirting a small little message to each our guests jus tsaying thank you again to them for coming etc etc or our fav memory of them.

Something sweet to set the mood.

:)

I think that's an excellent idea and your guests will totally appreciate the personalized messages and the fact that you took the time to think about a message for each one of them.

@@calgarybride2015 you are such an amazing resource!! thank you!!! I will go and check them out tomorrow :)

I spent many hours in dollarama and michaels. Like way too many, it's kinda sad I have no reason to go to michaels now.

I have stopped going to Michael's and the dollar store as much because I don't need anything else and every time I go I get all these ideas and keep buying things haha. I already have enough stuff to bring :(. Juan and I were just talking the other day about getting a few suitcases and just start packing or storing some of the things in there already, so then we get a realistic picture of just how much we need to bring down (and I stop buying more hahah)

I'll go back once we get our house for some DIY decoration projects :D, maybe that will ease off my withdrawal symptoms hahah.

Hey @

I was able to look back on my Etsy history and I purchased the dress February 28 and I finally received shipping notice March 11 and it arrived March 27.     It felt like a long process to me.  I was not impressed that it took her that long to ship it.  I'm in a hurry to get them because I wanted to check out the colour and I ordered colour swatches just in case I didn't like the coral.  Thankfully I was able to order them together.

I just saw your post in another planning thread but I didn't want to take over someone else's thread so I thought we could chat about the seating arrangements here.

I have 7 bridesmais & 4 groomsmen plus bride and groom that would potentially be at the headtable.  that's 13 people and makes for a very long headtable.

I was thinking of having the bridal party sit with their partners and since it will be an intimate wedding anyway, we can just have the bride and groom at the head table.  That's the one idea I had.  We have about 40-50 people attending so I thought it would look odd to have 13 people at a head table.

What do you think?

@perianjay  I just realized that you said she already marked it as shipped.  That was fast for you.  I think?

You can actually track the parcel.  There is a tracking number and you can track the progress with Canada Post once it's received in Canada.

that was the frustrating thing for me that I felt like if I hadn't emailed her to say, hey there, can ship my dress?  I feel like I'd still be waiting. @  but like you said, you are not in a hurry, but a lot of vendors on etsy, including myself, have very quick turnover times and that just wasn't cool.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
