Hi everyone,

I will be a November 2016 HRPC bride, anyone else getting married there around that time? I would love to exchange any details or information regarding the wedding planning process etc. At this point we have paid our deposit and sent a few emails back and for with our Miami wedding planner (Christina Hernandez). I'm waiting for guests to rsvp and put their deposits down (by Nov 17th). I'm finding all the wedding add-Ons (decorations and vendors) pretty expensive and the hotel doesn't let you bring your own decorations. Any of you previous HRPC brides have any tips on how to keep costs low?

I am getting married there in December 2016... I went through a travel agent. The prices were:

For 2 people, air, hotel, and transportation to and from the airport...

3 nights: 2665

4 nights: 3051

5 nights: 3324

7 nights: 4095

Wow !!! Where are you flying from?! Little shocked at their prices.

We are coming from Vancouver, Canada and the prices are even a little more than what KateWarf posted. It's $2500 per person for 7 nights. I asked a bunch of my guests before I booked and everyone loved the resort and seemed to be ok with the price being a little more than other places. I just hope the resort is worth it!

I'm in Calgary so was just a bit surprised. I know a couple who's gone there and loved it. They have a good reputation :) and I bet it's a fun place to be. The dollar isn't helping pricing either!

Ohhhhh I missed the two person part. I thought it was $4000 per person so that's why I almost fell off my chair.

JFAN, I'm a Nov 2016 bride there as well. Have you joined the facebook group for Palace Resort and Hard Rock Brides? If not please do. It's amazing with so much help and details. I actually found the décor and their vendor prices to be reasonable compared to a lot of resorts. We actually switched from a Sandals resorts for this reason. My ceremony set up would've been $3000 at Sandals vs. $1000 using an HRPC vendor.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
