Tinkersofi's Planning Thread - Azul Fives August 13, 2015

Thanks guys, yeah I think most of the pictures came out great, even without anything done to them. I think the biggest thing will just be taking the shine off our faces on the pictures from the reception and then a few people on the beach on some of the pictures.

For the dance, I can totally tell where he got lost because I lost all my "spice" haha. I just wasn't sure what he was going to do next, and if he would catch on or not :P. I was telling him what steps came next, but that didn't work either haha.

@@TinkerSofi Love the pics!! Can't see why they need to be edited but wow - if he does they'll be fabulous! Trying to watch the vid but blocked here so will have to do it later.

Thanks so much for the tips on the wedding DJ app. It helps a lot. The big question I have is that we don't NEED wifi to be able to run it?? That's what I was worried about because I know Mexico can have really bad or really good wifi access. The thing is I know there won't be any where we will be so we absolutely need to be able to run the app without wifi!!

Wow, I love your photos! He did a great job. Do you even need editing? Lol

haha i'm really excited to see them edited because they look so nice already! I know he doesn't edit them a lot, like other photographers we have seen, but we kind of liked that and that's why we hired him :). But for example, there's a few where the ribbon to hang my dress from was coming out and I didn't know, so he'll probably photoshop that out. We're trying to pick the ones that would benefit the most from editing, because of people in the background, or shiny faces. Others really don't need that much work.

My MOH is also really good with photoshop and she said she could edit some more if I wanted :)

Your dance is awesome....  you did great, I could kind of pick up where he got 'lost' but you still did fantastic.

You blew ours out of the water - we swayed back and forth then I grabbed his butt to spice it up a bit LMAO!

I love Latin dancing, the movement of the hips is so sexy!

Hahah that's so funny that you grabbed his butt. I was a little upset because we practiced so much and it actually looked really good but at the same time, I knew he would mess up so I didn't take it too harshly. It definitely felt a lot worse than it looked . He was very upset actually that he blanked out and he wanted to do it again. I told him to just let it go and have fun the rest of the night. I actually told him that he wouldn't do it again because I was afraid that he would mess up again and then he would feel even worse. He had one too many tequila shots before the dance in my opinion hahah, which is why he almost dropped me at the end Lmao

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
