I was definitely thinking of posting pictures haha! I have them in my external hard drive so you'll all have to wait until I get home haha :P

They don't let you take pictures at the chippendales until the end where you have to pay. That was a blast though. We were pretty rowdy and in my group we had everything, from the girls that scream and try to get one of their shirts to me and my other married friend, who just looked at each other and giggled nervously :P. It was a good show, I can definitely appreciate the dancing haha. They asked me up to the stage (to my dismay) and they gave us tasks to do, at least I got the tamest one.

@@TinkerSofi your trip sounds like such a blast!!! So good you had a great time!!! Way to start off the festivities for Mexico!

yeah it was nice to get away for a bit before mexico, I felt like I really needed it. Also, stress was running somewhat high between Juan and I, so it was nice to miss each other for a few days :)

Back to wedding planning:

- My parents bought me a necklace to wear on the wedding day. It's from the same seller on etsy as the rest of my jewellery. She had sent me a 10% discount after the first purchase and I completely forgot to use it this time, but she actually still refunded me the 10% since it was my second purchase, which was super nice of her! I can't wait until it arrives to post a picture of it and see how it goes together with my earrings and bracelet :D.

I didn't want a necklace originally thinking that I'd be too decked out, but then I saw some pictures of other brides and then when I went to fitting appointment I felt like something was missing around my neck.

- You guys remember I bought my bridesmaids some necklaces as well? I'm getting a little worried since according to the tracking they've been in customs since June 1st :S. I don't know what to make of that. I'm not saying it's the seller's fault. She did have a few problems with the supplier but she let me know and I agreed that I could wait a little longer, she actually shipped them promptly after the was able to sort that out. I'm more like "customs, get your s** together!". It's just 4 necklaces!

Glad you had a great time!!  I can only imagine Chippendales!  :)

I've been in August and don't recall my sandals melting, HOLY CRAP!!!  We are going in August this year for a week and sometimes I wonder why I agreed to this LOL!!!

I find the heat in Mexico was more intense than Vegas. Sure it's not as hot, but that heat/sun is just more in your face! Glad you didn't burn though!

Can't wait to see your necklace!

Would love to go to Vegas one of these days.... but it would be with Doug and I somehow don't think he would agree to go to Chippendales....

Can't wait to see the necklace!

Oh I'm so glad you had a great time in Vegas! But your sandals were melting? Yikes, too hot for me. Unfortunately I faint if I get overheated, that's why January in Mexico is perfect for our wedding.

And the Chippendales were in Vancouver this weekend! didnt get to watch it as it was my brother's wedding.

Hey @@TinkerSofi,

It's been a while since I been on here. Glad to catch a breath now today and sneak in and see what you  girls are all up to. You are getting so close now. You excited. Well duh of course you are.

I can't believe you went to Vegas, you lucky girl. I want to go there someday just to see what all they hype is about...lol We would love to see some pictures, don't we girls?

Anyway, you are doing really well with the planning. Just the little things now and last minutes.

Don't forget the pictures...lol

@@TinkerSofi sounds like you had a great time in Vegas and a well deserved vacation from wedding planning!  :) Love that you guys went to see Chippendales! I went to Vegas 5 years ago for my best friend's bachelorette and we went to see "The Thunder from Down Under" lol! It was highly enjoyable!! ;)

Wooo Vegas!  I met my fiancé there!

I went at the end of August and remember feeling like I was under a hot hand dryer the whole time.

Nice of you to be able to get away before the big day!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
