I'm sorry to hear what has happened to you, but like the girls said...better now than a week before.  It's great that you have another friend, who is supportive that can now join you on your special day.

And on the bright side....look at all these ladies that you haven't even met who are supporting you 100%

@RivieraBride15 Thank you! Definitely couldn't agree more with you..I'm feeling so great today. Life is amazing and this has really opened up my eyes to all of the GOOD that I have in my life. It feels so nice to have this black cloud gone.

The girls on this forum are amazing. I feel like i've made so many friendships here with a group of ladies that truly understand me.

@perianjay that is so awful. I am so so so sorry that this happened to you. That girl is NOT worth one minute of your time! I don't understand how someone could be so selfish and self absorbed. If I was her fiancé I would be embarrassed to be marrying her. Yuck!!!

I don't care if she was jealous. MANY brides get married at the same times as their best friends and they make it work. You prioritize! Brides get married in 2 months from engagement and it is not a race down the aisle. xoxox

@Smellsey thanks girl! You're too sweet.

I know what you mean.. even after I got a malicious vibe about it I still put the feelings aside and tried to be there for her. I just think she was way too self centered for me to even bother trying to do that. I'm just lucky that despite losing her I have so many other great friends to count on. I take comfort in knowing that.

@perianjay just catching up on all the threads!! I'm so sorry that you've had to deal with the crazy drama from your ex MOH but I'm so glad that you're rid of the negativity that she was bringing into your special day. You are definitely better off and now you can relax knowing she will not be there putting a damper on things.

Recessional Song

Ladies! I need some help and opinions if you don't mind..

I'm trying to decide on a recessional song for when we exit from the altar. I really want something upbeat and fun..it wouldn't be 'me' unless I could dance my way down the aisle as we exit.

Here are a few songs I've thought of using so far, but i'm also open to any new ideas as well..

Usher - Without you

Beyonce - Crazy in love (I'm a bit beyonce crazed..)

Beyonce - XO - Not really dancey, but it is one of my favourite songs.

Kind of hitting a road block here.

Chester wants to enter the reception to Silento - Watch me. If you have heard it, you may laugh, but for some reason my groom wants to "whip" and "nae nae" hahaha. I'm still a bit on the fence with the idea. The idea of it is funny I suppose, but I think i'd prefer something else. We will probably decide this song closer to the date.

Ooh I love the song choices so far and was gonna say Crazy in Love since your a big Beyoncé fan but is Chester? How about Happy By Pharell, or too played out?

And Watch Me is an awesome song! My mom and 9 year old nephew dance to that all the time. I make Waffle whip and nae nae all the time lol.

I'll think of more ideas for you

@Wafflesmom haha ok, so his whip and nae nae idea wasn't the worst then. I'm considering it because I think it'll be a fun way to let loose.

I like happy, but it is a bit overdone I think. Chester is pretty easy going with the song choices.

@perianjay hahaha I love that he wants to use "Watch Me" - If it suits his personality then I think absolutely go with it, your guests will get a kick out of it!

Your recessional song should def be Beyonce - anyone that knows you would know why you chose that song, She does a cover for "At Last" but that might be too slow.

What about "Love on Top" ?  It's cute and upbeat!  I also googled it and it's a popular choice for recessional songs apparently lol
