@perianjay I'm the same way. I studied art for 4 years and then let it all go for a while. I did a couple chalk boards as trials with regular chalk that aren't too bad but good thing I've got time to brush up on my skills

Awesome job. That looks fantastic. I wonder if you could set the chalk some how and sell those?

@calgarybride2015 I used a chalk ink marker, so it doesn't rub off nearly as easily as regular chalk. I have a clear coat that i'm going to spray over top of it once I write my date in at the bottom.

Awesome! I was thinking they must not smudge as easily as regular chalk!!  You did a great job!

@calgarybride2015 Thanks!! My friend who is a graphic designer offered to print it out and I'd stencil, but I decided to just free hand the entire thing. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out :) I'm going to bubble wrap it. I'm also making a little sign thats similar for my polaroid camera set-up :)

Yay!! Congrats on being a Mrs!! You looked beautiful!! And very handsome hubby!!

The chalkboard is awesome! Would you be willing to do another one with different wording and sell it? I would buy it for sure!! That's something else you should add to your Etsy site!! You're so talented!

Joyce is still waiting for word from the restaurant on our menu change. I did a mock up because now we have 5 items to chose from and as soon as I get the ok I'll send the info to you andd you can do the Etsy listing.

I said "yes" again to the love of my life at Grand Coral Beach Club, Playa del Carmen, Mexico on our 4th anniversary - October 20, 2015

@perianjay WOW! I have missed out on so much that I don’t even know where to begin so I’ll keep it short.

first off, CONGRATLATIONS! You two look so happy. Great dress, great bouquet, great crown!

Your chalkboard looks AMAZING. I can’t believe you did that freehand. Pure talent!

WOO HOO to being less than 100 days away J

All your signage is spot on. You’ve done an amazing job. I can’t wait to see it all come together.
