Oh it hurts my heart to see you ladies subjected to all of this drama. @perianjay I'm so sorry you're being subjected to this, on top of what you've already been put through! I just don't know what it is that makes friendships so fragile over wedding plans at a time that's supposed to be so happy. I know with women the green eyed monster is a big factor especially if it's someone that is afraid the friendship will change after you're married or someone that feels they should be getting married too. We women can be horribly catty! If anything you find out who your true friends are which as so many of you have sadly discovered can be very painful. I wish I had some words of a wise old woman but I don't. As you get much older I think you develop a bit of a thicker skin but it was just as hard for me when we lost all of our group.

@perianjay Look to your partner is all I can say. I know men don't really understand but when you get through crappy stuff like this together I think it makes it easier to lean on each other as you go through your married life together. Losing friendships is so hard. I think a cooling off time is in order. I agree with earlier posts - don't let this young lady see that you're so upset by it. Not yet anyway. That always gives someone a power they don't deserve. Give it a bit of time. She may come around on her own and call and apologize but if not... then it may be time to let it go. Some friendships can weather things like this and others can't. Get some "me" time into you. Hugs and cuddles from hubby to be and a nice warm bubble bath for your cold along with a shot of rum! Not the cure all by any means but it might help you feel a little better about things. Then just wait and see what happens for a bit. You may need to take the bull by the horns but not now when you're hurt by it.

Feel better soon!

@perianjay I've been meaning to message you to check up on you. Foremost, I'm glad to hear that your MOH came to her senses and realized that she was being selfish. I'm so happy that your situation turned out differently than my friend's.

But I am so sorry to hear that one of your bridesmaids is now stressing you out. I agree that you two are at different points in your lives but that doesn't excuse her behaviour. That's fine that's she's living it up and partying but at a certain point, she needs to buckle down and realize that she agreed to be by your side on your wedding day. Agreeing to it cones with dome responsibilities and I think everyone knows that. I agree with everyone that you should just take some time fir yourself right now but I also think you need to talk to her about how she's making you feel. She shouldn't be allowed to think that how she's behaving is acceptable and that it's or affecting you negatively. Talking worked for your MOH and I hope it will work again. At 4 months out, I'd give her an ultimatum. You can't hold planning because of her. She either does what she said she'd do or just step aside for someone else to fill her role and duties.

Cheer up hun. You've been so strong and this is just another hurdle that you'll overcome.

I'm so sorry to hear about all of the drama. It truly is amazing how the people you thought were the closest to you can then be so thoughtless. I'm experiencing a small amount of the same & it sucks. Just keep remembering ultimately what matters (the 2 of you).

@acw271011 @Wafflesmom Thanks Ladies. I relaxed last night and tried to avoid any outside drama. It's definitely a hard time right now because a lot of things are still going on. My MOH is still planning her wedding and that's going to be some added stress to this time for me.. not to mention a lot of added $$$ that I really didn't want to be spending only a month before my own wedding that i've been planning for a year. I just think everything is building right now and i'm turning into everything I didn't ever want to be...(bridezilla??)

I'm not sure where it stands with my BM right now, but i'm hoping she will be able to make it still.

PS. Current mood..

@JessieL thank you I totally get that it's about the two of us. That's definitely something that I always think about when these situations occur. It's still not easy regardless because you want the love and support that you deserve for your big day.

My creative juices have been flowing! @acw271011 inspired me to do my very own door hangers for the wedding. I have a lot of card stock so I decided I might as well! Here is my door hanger :)

Going to frame this sign and leave it on the escort card table..

We decided against a typical guest book because we really liked the idea of "advice cards" it will be so cute to read them after/years later. This idea was inspired by @TinkerSofi

I've tried to keep it within the same design scheme as my signage.

I'm also working on my escort cards right now. I purchased a pack of tent cards from Walmart for $10 a few months back. They were 50% off at the time so I was happy with that as I was originally looking at all of the escort cards on Etsy and they were triple or quadruple that cost. If I can design them myself, all I needed was the physical blank tent cards. Will post these once I have them printed :)
