@calgarybride2015 thank you! I remember seeing yours and thinking how cute it is! I guess we will have to check out Ben Moss then. Chester seems to be getting pickier every time I bring up the ring lol.

What I found odd (any maybe it's not) is we could only find that ring at one Ben Moss. Shawn was very picky so I'm glad we found it or he'd probably still be looking.

@calgarybride2015 I bet you that's exactly how Chester will be. I already know that him and I have completely different taste. So I probably won't LOVE the ring he chooses as much as he will haha, but.. I guess I have to let it go because it's what he will be wearing. After the girls mentioned that Jimmy Fallon degloving thing though.. I almost don't want him to wear it haha

small update and pictures to come tomorrow..

I have naturally long and full lashes, but my friend has convinced me that eyelash extensions may be the way to go for the wedding. Less worry about smudging my mascara because i'm definitely a crier.

Wondering if anyone has any input or experience with eyelash extensions?

My friend and I will be going tomorrow for a little trial run to see how I like them. I wanted to make sure that i'd be happy with how they look before I get them for the wedding.

I will be sure to post some pictures up tomorrow.

Anyone else planning on extensions?

We had a long discussion about this late last year. Not sure if it was in a specific post for this discussion or in someone's planning thread. That said @tygrrlily and @kcole123 are two brides I can think of recently that used them. Once I'm on my PC I will see if I can find the discussion. I believe you have to be cautious on the ones you use so they don't trash your real eyelashes.

Hey @perianjay

I tried out Ritual Salon  www.ritual.ca

I had them done in March and the experience was a good one. it was great service and the results were amazing.  I did find that once they were coming out I was actually losing some of my own eyelashes.  My eyelashes are also long and full and even the lady that did the extension was telling me I didn't need it but I thought I would just try this to see if I would do it for the wedding and I ended up not doing it in the end as I didn't want to lose more eye lashes and be annoyed about it around the wedding.

I ended up just going my own natural eyelashes with a waterproof mascara.

@veryvalentine ohh ok! very interesting. I keep hearing so many mixed reviews. I've heard a few people say that as long as they are applied correctly, it shouldn't take out your natural lashes. I heard they should grow out with your lashes when new ones grow back in. I really hope that's the case! I was also thinking of doing the glue on ones, but i'm too worried about the glue coming undone.

It's funny cause my lashes are really big and full, but I am never satisfied with how they look in pictures. I find that when I get professional photos I have to add lashes and make my makeup super dramatic for it to really show.

@perianjay I was actually obsessed with eyelash extensions and had them done for 7 months straight. My lashes are not naturally long and full and so I thought they were really good. I love the way they make your eyes pop and they look so pretty. But once I had them removed, I had absolutely no lashes left. I looked awful!

So the truth is yes, they do eventually cause you to lose your lashes. Now mind you, I had them on for a good 7 months and had them filled religiously so of course that played a big role in me not having lashes left. The reason why you lose lashes is bc since they're glued to your real lashes, they weigh down your natural ones and cause them to fall off. I'm sure that if you get them done two months before your wedding to get used to them, and refilled the week before your wedding, you'll be ok. You do have to be careful about getting them wet and if you do get them wet, just let them air-dry. If you sleep face down, they may also get displaced. Oh, and absolutely no eye rubbing!
