@calgarybride2015 haha!! I would definitely stress about something like that too. I just need to take a deep breath and maybe have a glass of wine and my stresses will tame. :D

@perianjay, don't be hard on yourself, you are ahead of the game! You have not been procrastinating, look, you just recently crossed off a big thing off your list....your wedding gown
The key words you said are "small things", you've done so well that the big things are done!

Plus, I selfishly don't want you to stress out. You are way more organized than me. If you start stressing out, where does that put me? Lol

lol I completely agree! I think 6 months and go "oh.. lots of time" lol. crap.

I think you're doing great. You'll see that as time gets closer, if you're a planner (which you are), you really have less and less to do, which makes you feel like you're slacking but you're not. You still have plenty of time to plan out the rest and you will not regret slowing down for a week or two. I thought the same when I hit the 6 months mark but now it seems that I have so much time to just sit back and relax :)

@acw271011 thank you so much for the kind words and great advice. It's just in me to worry, luckily my fiancé keeps me calm.

@TinkerSofi You make a really good point. If you are really organized, there won't be a lot to do as you get closer to your date. I'm 9.5 months out and I'm already feeling like there is nothing to do! I'm feeling like I'm missing something. Now that I think about it, though, it's partly cause I'm a planner and partly cause I don't want to add much to the basic package that's included. Hopefully not falling behind :)

What I found is I was right on top of wedding stuff and kind of let the other stuff get missed. Like vaccinations for the kids lol so if you feel you may miss something think thru stuff not wedding related. Once I realized I had forgotten this (thankfully remembered 2 weeks out) I was in shambles and tears daily thinking id forgotten something major. So that's my recommendation - think outside the wedding box heheheh

@calgarybride2015  That's a good point too Kim! Everyone gets so wrapped up in the "wedding stuff" that it's so easy to forget things that are important but non-wedding related. Have people made full arrangements for pets to be boarded when they're gone? If you're gone for a week do you want the newspaper piling up outside your door so the whole neighbourhood knows you aren't there? Notifying the credit card company that you may make purchases out of the country? I remember someone on one of the forums when I first started that didn't do that. They got to Jamaica (I think that's where it was) and their credit card was refused because the cc company thought it was fraud. There are a bunch of others of course, but the easiest way is to go through your day and think about the things you do that are totally non-wedding related. The dentist - we make our cleaning appointments six months in advance. Do you really think I thought to check dates when I was looking at booking to make sure a dental cleaning appointment wasn't right smack in the middle of the time we would be away?

Oh and this isn't meant to add more stress to your lives ladies! lol

You ladies are right. I'd go through and try to think of everything you had to do in past trips or that you forgot to do. I'd also start a packing list as you keep remembering things that you need to bring :), that way it will make it a lot easier when packing day is here!

I tried to go through every part of the wedding day and make sure that I wasn't forgetting to plan anything big.

@perianjay

I am just catching up on some threads here. I seem to have missed out on a lot. Anyway, love the dress. If I hadn't of gone with the lace dress, this is def. the style I love. I used to see this dress from time to time on wedding shows or say yes to the dress, and I loved it. It looks amaze balls on you too. lol

You are getting closer now girl. Won't be long now and you will be having the wedding that you worked so hard to plan.
