@perianjay

The days are definitely going to fly by!  My photographer posted an engagement pic of us on fb every day since our 60 day countdown...now we are at 12!

I love all the things you have made...super jealous of your craftiness!

OMG you're getting so close. Not long now. Please try to relax. You're so well organized and you've put in so much hard work. You're going to have a spectacular wedding and be a gorgeous bride. There is no way it can be any different so put your mind at ease and remember what all of the brides say when they come back - I don't know why I was worried. It was perfect! And that will be you too!!

Little update with some pictures! Yay!

Hey ladies! Just wanted to post an update before the weekend. I finally got all of my flowers in yesterday from Stemple Shop and i'm really happy with them. I was expecting my bridesmaids bouquets to be a tad bit bigger, but it's ok because I was planning to add the dusty miller in anyway.

I also got 4 aisle runner bouquets that are a bit smaller than my bridesmaid bouquets, just to hang on some of the aisle chairs.

Overall i'm extremely happy with my purchase ($200 canadian -Brides bouquet, three bridesmaid bouquets, one wrist corsage, five boutonnieres and four aisle runner bouquets)

When I received a quote from Maya floral back in January I nearly fell over when they told me a bouquet of peonies would cost me around $350 USD - ONE bouquet!!!

Peonies have been my favourite flower ever since I read Diary of Anne Frank as a child. I've always wanted them as my wedding flower so I had to go the real touch route in order to have what I wanted.

I added in my own additional greens to bulk up the bouquets and then I re-wrapped them in the jute ribbon. The leaves I used are Dusty Miller leaves. They had them on sale for 60% off at Michaels - so naturally I went over the top and bought 4 bunches of it. I'm also adding it in with my real white roses in my centrepieces.

I also was able to finally make a box for the rings now that we now our ring bearers are for sure coming. We have still yet to ask them (but we told their parents) and I still have to buy their bow-ties and suspenders which I already found on Etsy. I should get on that soon!

The box cost me a total of $4 to make. Everything made from dollarama products.

I agree with @deecol your flowers are amazing! And you definitely got such a great deal on them, especially since you were quoted over $300 just for your bouquet alone. I like the addition of the dusty miller, adds a little something extra to the flowers.

And you did a great job on your ring box. I can't believe it only cost $4! Definitely looks like it cost more than 10X that price. My nephew/ring bearer has already said he wants to carry a ring pillow and does not want to wear suspenders. I called him a ring bearer-zilla lol

Wow your flowers are gorgeous!!! Love them all.

That's an outrageous quote. I paid $30 ish for my bridesmaids bouquets. Sometimes I wonder how these places sleep at night lol

Love the little box too. You did a great job!

@perianjay omg! I absolutely love your flowers! They are so gorgeous! It makes me want to look at my budget to consider getting flowers! I made my FI his own boutonnière but I love flower ones. I wonder if can add in some flowers. I also love that you are giving one to your dad! That's so sweet!

The ring box is adorable! I can't believe that was only $4! Mind you mine was around that too. Love crafty brides!!

@Wafflesmom that is so funny! Your ring bearers sound like my fiancé with the suspenders Hahahaha

Aren't your bouquet and his bout included in your package? Mine were. The extra bouts were $18 and the gerber bouquets for the girls around $30 but I think generally they charge around $525 peso. I made them quote me and it came in less lol

I looked into the real touch as well but compared to the reasonable costs our resort charged I couldn't justify it. With a $350 quote I would have been all over it.
