Recommended Posts

Hey girls,

I first want to say thank you for the boarding pass idea...i absolutly love them and everyone i show them to has loved them more!!! So thanks...i need more help with them though....or suggestions...did you girls print them on linen card stock or regular card stock...also did you print them on colour cardstock or just white? which looks better? Also i was at Michaels Craft Store and cannot find the corner cutters...i think maybe because i don't know exactly what im looking for? Would someone be able to post a picture of their actual corner cutter? So i can have a better reference? I woudl really appreciate it...also i guess if anyone has one they would like to sell to me? Maybe that is a possibility if you are done with it? lol....not sure how they will work? Where i am goign to get them printed they will cut them out but just straight edges along the dotted line but they can't do edges? Any help/suggestions for me? thanks so much

I haven't done mine yet, so no suggestions on the type of paper. I just bought my corner cutter and perforator this weekend. I bought the cutterpede paper cutter, which has an addition you can use to perforate. The corner cutter I bought is just like a shape puncher (if I remmber right, I bought ALOT of stuff). I don't have a picture, but if you go to Michael's again, all of that should be in the aisle together with the whole punchers that have shapes (flowers, circles, etc).

When I went to Michael's for this a few weeks ago, they didn't ahve ANYTHING, then this weekend a whole aisle, so perhaps they are updating their merchandise....

My corner rounder is from Creative Memories. You can go to their site and find a rep near you, or you can check on Ebay for one, here is one for a really good deal with other things as well. eBay.ca: Creative Memories Scallop Scissors Corner Rounder Pen (item 140175746650 end time 07-Nov-07 12:00:31 EST) Since our dollar is so good right now, ebay is a great place to look for things.

i used regular card stock in the "natural" shade. i thought the white gave too much contrast which i didn't like. my colors were orange and green. i found my corner cutters at target for $1! it was in the stationary/scrapbooking section.

i had mine printed at kinko's and cut each one myself. it was tedious but i didn't want to pay to have them cut. i bought a nice fiskar's paper cutter and a good pair of shears and it was fine.

here's an picture of my finished product:

I printed mine on regular, white card stock. I didn't use corner cutters just because I didn't think about it! Actually, I cut corners on the ones for people who would appreciate it, and left them rectangle-shaped for those would wouldn't (aka, his friends) wink.gif.

i did that part by hand.. sad.gif if there was an easier way to do it i couldn't figure it out.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
