I'm getting married at Iberostar Rose Hall Suites on June 11, 2015 with approximately 75-80 guests. I've decided to use the onsite spa for hair and makeup. I love the idea of being able to do it in my room, but the vendor fee just didn't seem worth it to bring someone in and I've only seen GREAT reviews for the spa.

 

For photographer I'm using Stacey Clarke. She pays the vendor fee and her packages are really reasonable for the quality of her images. We decided not to do a videographer but a lot of people use Roxroy or Elite Media Concepts.

OMG, that's exactly where I'm aiming for. My fiance wants to visit before booking but I have my mind set. We gonna visit on the second week of June and thats the week of your wedding!!!! That's awesome. Thank you for the info I'm gonna look them up.

I'm debating about a videographer still. Since our can't figure out a gift, I was gonna give everyone a copy of the video as gifts.

Oh funny! Well you'll probably see us there then! We'll be the crazy ones making too much noise and having too much fun  

 

We actually just bought a GoPro camera. Not so much for the ceremony, but so that we can take a ton of video of people just hanging out during the week. We plan to edit it into like a montage (or several montages) afterward because we think that'll be so fun to watch later on. We just feel like we'll enjoy that more than a professional video of the wedding. We'll just have a friend video the ceremony with a regular video camera.

I got married in Jamaica in 2011 at the Gran Bahia Principe Jamaica in Runaway Bay. We loved it! We used Merrick Cousley for our photographer and Roxroy for our videography and both were fantastic! We loved them both!

 

For makeup tons of girls recommend Rashel Edwards. I used the spa and I was disappointed overall. Rashel has a facebook page but she books up very quickly if you're interested in her. She is supposed to be fantastic and uses the air brushing. Even in the heat the reviews I read said that she does such a great job it doesn't melt.

 

Our 2 choices were Lady Hamilton and Gran Bahia and we went with Gran Bahia. No complaints at all. They were excellent.

I used Debra Barrett from Queenbee beauty, and she did an amazing job with my hair and make-up!! She did airbrush make-up on me, and it was fantastic!! So light and it lasted the whole day!! She has a Facebook page and a website too, you can see some of her work!

For photography we used WPAJ, the associates of Sungold. Our photographer was Chris, he was super friendly and his attention to detail was amazing... can't wait to see some of our photos!!! Good luck with the rest of your planning!! :-)

Hi ladies, thank you for the feed backs. This site it's been helping me so much that I'm looking for the possibility of the Royalton white sand now as well. It looks super nice and the reviews have been great. So now it's just a little more complicated. Hopefully my visit in June help me decide.

As far as photography, I'm still looking. It's my main priority and I'm a far I'd to make wrong choice and regret it. I really like Watkins but he's sooo pricey name and because I love him so much no one else comes close enough. I'm definitely gonna contact the recommendations for make up. Thank you.

Hello brides! I would honestly advise against using the spa makeup and hairstylists. Ive seen their work and it was not up to par. Dwayne Watkins work is amaazzzzing, if you can afford it go ahead. But I have been looking at Dean Clarke's work and I love it. Thinking of going with him.
