Hi everyone. My fiancé and I have decided to get married at the finest resort in November 2015. I contacted the resort and they gave me their availability and the cost details. I now at the point that I need to confirm the date with the resort so I can start sending out save the dates and details to my guests. How did you guys get your confirmation? Did you have to put down a deposit?

I'm a little nervous about how the wedding planning is going to work out...

I just booked my wedding at Finest as well.

 

In order to confirm your wedding date you do not need to put down a deposit, they want you to book your stay at the resort. 

I had been contacting Laura Jimenez and she sent me a form to fill out and you need to provide them with your resort booking confirmation number, expected number of guests, wedding package you want etc...

Sorry MissAmbeer26! I haven't been checking posts. 

 

We will be having the ceremony at the gazebo which I believe is just off of the beach, and the cocktail hour and reception at the Sky Bar (saw pictures of it and it is absolutely beautiful!)

 

I and going there in June and will be meeting with Teresa, I want to see what the different options are for decor and costs. I would like to have a lot of flowers at the ceremony and reception table centerpieces. 

 

I also plan to get a trail hair and makeup done, I emailed One Spa to schedule a time but they have not responded yet.

I am so happy to have found this forum. My fiance and I read about and fell in love with Finest Playa Mujeres. We're planning a trip down there in November to do a tour of the facilities, and it is our hope that we can confirm our wedding -- just like that! LOL

 

Reading you ladies stories has been so great as it's so far away, and I'm a bit nervous.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
