Oh it's definitely a lifestyle change. Trust me I hear you on that... I am a large advocate for a healthy diet and exercise. I didn't lose 125lbs using pills or shakes or what have you.... and I didn't lose my weight in 30 days!
But I have yo-yo'd for a long time and I have struggled with my weight since my early 20's and it's more than just saying 'it's a lifestyle' There is so much more mentally to it than that for those with weight issues! It's a complete mind game. I seem to go in extremes from scale nazi to food nazi... I thought I had found my place, I had maintained my loss for 2 years -- so much better than the 1-2 months I had done in the past - but life got in the way of my little routine I had as a single mom. I got a boyfriend, then I got engaged and I needed to redefine how it was going to look and I just didn't
I know I can do it, I have done it before, but I need to figure out this time how to make maintenance work long term. Losing weight is a whole lot easier than maintaining it, that is forsure.
It is good @yycbride2016 that you can spot the fact it is harder to maintain your weight now so you don't end up at 280lbs like I did (mind you 80lbs of that was pregnancy lol)... It's a lot easier to keep in check before it gets out of control.
