Oh my FI and I got a membership to goodlife last fall and i've only been a handful of times. We thought a membership would motivate us to go more often but turns out we both prefer working out at home. We built an at home gym with a rubber floor and everything. I feel like I should still use my gym membership for the next couple months before it expires though.

Never tried juicing. We got a Vitamix for xmas and OMG changed my life. Its so much easier to get in my veggies now. Even throwing in a couple handfuls of spinach into my smoothies is amazing. Last night I made broccoli soup (low sodium chicken broth, broccoli, cauliflower, onion, garlic, and a bit of cheese). This vitamix has changed the way I eat I think. We both use it practically every day.

@@acw271011 Awe I'm sorry to hear you're having so many struggles with weight post surgery and with everything you have going on. Its not easy. I know that since I'm so young still I have to stay on top of it because I want to be healthy. I can tell when my diet gets yucky because i just feel terrible. My skin gets bad and worst of all I have a soy intolerance and almost all foods have soy in them So I have to be really careful to just eat mostly natural foods.

@@Wafflesmom Oo Where do we find this? haha (nvm just found it)

I absolutely love using Fitbit to achieve my fitness goals. I would like to lose about 30lbs before my wedding in 2017. Please add me brittnoel448. Would love some encouragement and ladies to help each other through this stressful process!

I was size 6 and dropped down to size 2 over the years. I have learned some things during this time:

- Muscles eat fat - Muscles need protein to grow - therefore, eat protein and weight train (heavy weights) to feed your muscles

- No, you will not look too muscular/bulky if you weight train and eat balanced, healthy foods

- Intake of calories < Output of calories = calorie deficit = loss in either fat or muscles (depends on how much carb vs. protein you eat)

- 70-80% of what you eat = how you look

- Muscles weight more than fat! Don't look at the scale as the only measurement

- Drink water

- You need carbs to live - just watch out for overloading on good carbs and definitely watch out for bad carbs

- It takes time to change habits. Stick with it and you will see results

Agree 100%

I hear a lot of people workout hard hard hard and their deficit is too large. The body and muscles need food to do their job!!!!

And my fave saying 'you can't out exercise a bad diet' your diet is so important as you've said.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
