@@TinkerSofi I get the same thing with shellac. Are you using the GIWC perk at the spa? Are you getting the mani/pedi that comes with it? Just wondering if you're also getting your nails done before your wedding if you're getting the spa package once you're there.

yeah I am! I'll get my pedicure retouched but I don't know if I should get my nails done there as well or just get them before I go. I'm just happy i'm getting my bridal hair and makeup for free! :D

UPDATE

So it's getting down to the last couple of days. So here is a list of what is left to do. It's so good seeing this get smaller.

 - Gifts for groomsmen (still don't know what Nathan is getting them). He said he will pick something up on Saturday (two days before we fly out). He tells me to stop panicking and I over think everything, My god he doesn't put any thinking into this...lol

 - Music list - Nathan is finally in his little den getting that done as I write this. After many harping sessions from me...lol I told him "if we left everything until the last minute like he says is fine, then we wouldn't get it all done and would be just leaving with just our clothes on our backs and nothing else.

- Hair appointment is tomorrow.

- Eyelash fill appointment is Saturday

- Take out US money

- Finish guest signing book (am working on this tonight but waiting for paint to dry)..lol

And that is it. I also printing everything off that I think I would need. I did this tonight also. I also got my crown in for my tooth and also have this on instead of the temporary now which I am really happy about.

QUESTION:

Do any of you ladies have any idea of how to pack the tumblers so they wouldn't break so easily? Wrap them in clothes?

Hey I replied to you about the tumblers in the other planning thread :) if you can't find bubble wrap anywhere clothes would work too. But definitely wrap them. I did the straws with about 10 together and bubble wrapped them too. They break easier.

Are you taking out US money to pay vendors or tip? I was about to say take peso to tip and save your money but then you aren't in Mexico and I have no idea what their dollar is in the DR!!

Getting so close. If it makes you feel better Shawn did the GM gift (minus the shaving kits I bought) 2-3 days before too. Men!!!!

I love your short list! Mine is slowly getting there...

I agree with bubble wrap, but I think clothes would really do the trick, too. Maybe look in to getting a hard-shell piece of luggage? I'm pretty sure that's what I'm going to do.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
