What receipts are you printing? Lashes look awesome!!! I like the swim suit you bought... La vie en rose is awesome... I bought my swim suits already. I hate pushy sales people too... So glad your second dress will be here soon!

Thanks @@Meandhim,

I love the lashes. They are so natural and weightless too. I honestly thought they would weigh and tonne but not the case.

I want to print off receipts for what I have paid in full so far ( things like photography and the La Barcaza). And also printing off receipts for some of the larger items I bought just in case it gets questioned at customs. Just in case, you never know with those guys.

I also wanted to print off emails from the resort too just in case they say no to something while I am there that they already said yes to. Just in case.

@@kcole123 I know what you mean about the lashes. You'd think that laying there with your eyes closed would be relaxing but I got claustrophobic! Your lashes look fantastic, so glad you went with a place who knows how to do them well, it shows

I agree that your swimsuit design looks great. I'm sure it was frustrating trying on swimsuits with a pushy saleswoman hounding you. I kinda giggled at your list bc I could see myself getting all bridezilla on her lol

Wishing you positive vibes for when your second dress arrives. Hopefully it will be a perfect fit and it can be one thing crossed off on your to do list!

@@kcole123 Lash extensions look great. Definitely on my to do list! Don't worry about your mini meltdown....I think that happens to me every few months especially when I an having a down on my body day....which is quite often haha xx

P.S. I wish I looked half as good as you with no make up

Kristy. The lashes are awesome. A total difference :) everything you bought looks great. You are so close.

My ring is platinum so I've been told I don't need it dipped but glad you can see the difference. Was it super expensive? I was actually told my first e-ring wouldn't need dipping either. It was 19k. Don't know the rules though??

I would probably speak to fiancé again about those gifts!! Or maybe on your next trip to Edmonton pick something out and text a pic to him for approval heheheh

I would have been a bridezilla about that dress too. Can't wait to hear how it fits.

@@kcole123 The lashes look great! Just with the smaller filling you can see such a big difference :)

They have so many cute bathing suits at La Vie en Rose. I was there this weekend and bought a coverup. I really like the one you got. I find that when going bathing suit shopping it's best to go with someone else. It makes it more fun when things look horrible and sometimes I find that when we're on our own we're too overcritical and start seeing all the flaws and make them 100% worse in our minds. I'm really not a big fan of the light in changing rooms either, it brings out all the imperfections.

I love how the centrepieces look with the seashells :). That was a really good idea!

I've had my ring dipped once since I got it and I agree with you, what a difference!! It looks like you just got engaged haha. I've had my wedding band for a while and when I got my e-ring dipped, I compared them. It was so weird because even though I have the wedding band put away and never use it, it looks more yellow haha. It's probably just the normal oxidation process. Anyway, I'll send both of them to be dipped before the wedding.

@@calgarybride2015 I don't think you need to dip the platinum ones. White gold tends to turn yellow over time so that's why they dip them again. I'm guessing just a cleaning and polishing would have the same result for yours :)

Yes this is true @@calgarybride2015. The jewler actually said that yesterday. The platinum rings needs no dipping just a polishing is fine.

Thanks girls. Getting ready to cleanse my lashes now with the recipe the lady gave me yesterday.

1 tablespoon baby shampoo

7 tablespoons water

1 teaspoon baking soda

Just in case any of you are looking for a home remedy and not spending the money on the stuff the lash places sell.

Oh @@calgarybride2015 my dipping for my engagement ring took one hour yesterday and it cost me $35, which I thought was well worth the money just because of how well it turned out.

ohhhh that's a good price for dipping. A lady I work with had hers done and it was over $100!!!  I was disgusted.

Oh yes I know I don't need to dip mine, just wasn't sure what golds you did - I was told 19k gold didn't need dipping either.  But am just not sure, because I know of some brides who have 14k gold and were never once told about dipping, they were shocked when I had mentioned the process to them.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
