Hey! That's too bad about the brazilian, but at least you got your bikini done and I cannot explain how nice it is to just wake up there, put your bathing suit and leave, rather than worry about shaving. Some girls just have a lower pain threshold, so nothing wrong with that. My aesthetician told me that some girls can't even do the bikini wax because it's too painful for them, so you're still in a better position :)

I love the bags! I've wanted one of those bags (the nautical looking ones) since last year but other expenses always come up and it keeps taking the back seat in terms of priority. When I travel I still like backpacks for some reason, especially since I'll be taking this garment bag which is taller than me haha.

That is actually a good point about the backpack...I didn't think about it but we'll be lugging so much crap that having hands free could be a lifesaver! We have 5 other adults on our flight, but also 3 kids so I can't count on them to help much as extra hands! I'm writing this down ;)

Yes thank god for people able to help!

We had 11 bags and once we got near the exit of the Cancun airport they wouldn't let us use the carts/trolleys anymore, thankfully we still had some friends around us (even with 30+ people on our flight together we got separated) and there would have been no way we could have lugged that all alone!

Had my nails done today and had a pedicure. I love getting pedicures, never thought I would until last year my friend finally convinced me. So that summer wasy first pedicure ever. Now the nails I could so without. I hate having nails on because I feel so constricted but my sister thought it would be nice to have them done for the wedding. She is right they do look nicer for pictures. So I will do it for this occasion and then won't get them redone.

They look nice hey?

so pretty! I've never had gel nails done. Maybe I could get them done this time around? I do agree that they look very nice for pictures and everything but I become totally useless with my hands when my nails are long haha

Haha yeah me too. I feel

Like I can't even get dressed. I even said to Nathan when I got home that he will need to do everything until we

Leave, even dress me." Hahaha he just looked at me

Weird. Hahaha but of course

I was joking.

But yeah I told missus I didn't want long nails not that long.

I usually get sport length when I do gels. So they barely show when looking at the palm of my hands. You'll get used to them, then it will be weird when you take them off :)

My fingernails were usually sore for a day or two afterwards (that's when I used to get acrylic tips. I prefer gel on my natural nails, now). Anyway, after that sore period, I'd get used to them.

They look very pretty!

@@kcole123 Yay for the crown!! That's probably such a weight off your shoulders! one less thing to stress about :)

@@pddcmc I get the same pain with shellac when I get it off. I wonder why that happens. I think I'll get gel for the wedding, then I also don't have to worry about it while I'm over there. Juan also loves the look of gel nails haha and always asks me why I don't get them done (because I don't have money, that's why). I know I'm going to pay the price later when I get them off, but all in the name of beauty :P

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
