Kcole123 Planning Thread - April 17, 2015 - Melia Caribe Tropical

Yeah and you know something I am finding out (and I just emailed the guy from the boat), that one bride mentioned on a facebook post. If you want to extend she said that the little boat that takes you out there can also take people back to shore if they didn't want to stay that extra hour. woot woot. Now I am happy. I just emailed the boat guy just to clarify it though but wouldn't that be perfect? hehe

@@kcole123 - Do you have an idea of how you want your hair styled? I posted a few looks on my journal.... I think I like the second and third photos the best. I didn't schedule a trial... I hope everything turns out well..

I am having my hair up for the wedding. I didn't even question this. I get really warm when my hair is down especially in heat like that. So of having it up will help at all from it becoming a tangled mop, then up it is.

I am wanting a loose kind of up do. I like the one braid isn't there going from the front.

These are the two styles I like. I like the messy bun and the braid of the first one but love the lift on the top part of the second one. If that makes sense. I also like wear the bun lays on the head of the first one.

I haven't booked a trial run. I have Krystie Ann booked for my hair and makeup and I am just leaving it for the morning of and waiting to see her work her magic.

Hope this helps you a bit. What are you thinking?

Ok I just seen your hair styles posted. A lot of great looks. I like one, three, and five.

I just may have to copy those pics and bring them with me, along with mine.

@@kcole123 I really like those styles, too!

I wish I could have loose, fun beachy waves, but my hair is too fine that the curls will just fall out. Plus, I don't want to worry about the wind blowing my hair in my face.

I sent photos to my hair and make-up artists, so I think that'll be enough. I've read several reviews on them and brides saying they didn't even need a trial run, so I am banking on that.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
