I was just playing around with wedpics again. Turns out there is an invite guests function. You can invite them by phone/email, text, facebook, and ordering app cards.

You can save the pics on wed pics to your pc and print yourself. They also offer a printing service but I can assume it's not the most cost effective. They sent my guests an email after the wedding offering 50% off printing lol

My guests uploaded the pictures once we were home from Mexico. No one uploaded while we were there.

Remember too that a lot of

People will post them to Facebook as well. Most of our guests did this and I saved lots there. I had sooooo many friend requests after Mexico lol

I also wouldn't do the disposable cameras. After the fact everyone had a camera or phone and just shared their pics.

I thought about doing a #. I'd just search for it and see if it has been used before. You can also use # on facebook and photos can be printed off. I've seen a website where you can print pictures from instagram but i can't remember what it's called. Maybe do a search of that and see what comes up.

I like the idea of a scavenger hunt. I thought I might print off something for each table and put the hashtag there.

Hahaha anyway girls once I get something in my head I want it done like yesterday. So I printed these off this morning. They are so neat. Going to place each one at each place setting on each table. Just so people won't be sharing.

Trying to get some things out of the way today. Sending my paperwork to the resort today. Also sending final numbers and requesting to make a payment with the boat today as well.

So looks like this is wedding day.

Oh @@Meandhim funny you got those little bathing suit bags because that's what I was going to add for each of the bridesmaids and then that's my shopping done for them. I actually seen them at a local drugstore here in their "summer section" and thought they were so cute. Was going to stop in there today to see if they had more come in because they only had 2 there and I needed 3. They said they are getting more in so let's hope that's soon.

Nice job Kristy! I love your page with the photo scavenger hunt. Cool thing on the wedpics. I'd never heard of it.

I was looking back through your thread Kristy and realized you're going to do the same as me with your rings. I want another band to add to stack them. I'm just trying to decide on the style.

Thanks, I love the stackable ring style. Of course I couldn't wait for the first year anniversary band and when Nathan gave me the other ring for Christmas, I thought perfect this would make an awesome stackable ring...lol

Yeah I figured it would be nice that people can all share their photos and it don't have to be Facebook. Be nice for other options for people that don't like to share on Facebook. I know a couple of our guests already hate posting anything on Facebook. So at least this is something else so I could see the pics.

Sorry my photos ended up turning sideways. I loaded them up the right way. Oh well guess because it as from my phone, it was being stubborn.

I love the stackable idea. Not sure it could work with mine given the twisting of the band already. I know I want one for the other side but I kinda want it now so I can get them sautered (sp?).

Mine is an embraceable so my e-ring already sits down in the middle with a band on either side. But I was thinking some kind of eternity ring for the renewal given everything we've been through. Doug has lost so much weight that his wedding ring doesn't fit anymore. We have to have it sized but it's tungsten so they've said its a one shot deal. If he gains weight back his ring will be toast. I was tempted to just let him keep it on the bigger finger that he has it on now and buying him a new one for October. I found a site that has them at a very reasonable price so definitely thinking a lot about it.

Well just sent all my paper work to the resort. ITs tough because I am not having my reception there but wanted to replace the dinner reservation for the wedding night for another night before hand for the welcome dinner. So I was writing notes all over the place on the forms and again in the email. I hope they understand what I am trying to say and request because half the time I don't know what I am trying to say. Anyway wait to hear back I spose.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
