@@lizzjameson YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!! Thank you so much for sharing your pics. Congratulations!!!!!!! Man I haven't heard from Yanin for 3 weeks now!! It is so frustrating but you helped calm me so hopefully when I get there on June 1 she is more responsive and organized.

My ceremony starts at 5:30pm...I hope it doesn't get dark too quickly!!

Did you bring your own music for the ceremony? If so does Yanin help play the songs for us?

Can't wait to see more pics when you have time!!!! Congrats again!!!!!!

My wedding is in 18 days!! Eeeek!!!!

@@mexiwedding Thank You So Much and Congrats!! Don't worry she will sit with you when you arrive and put all the final details together including things you probably haven't even thought of. I was feeling the same anxiety and was very impressed when we arrived. She goes beyond what I anticipated and is right there the entire time to ensure all goes smoothly.

The audio for the ceremony is really good. They have an audio system with an aux plug in so if you have the music on someone's phone they can give it to her and explain what you want played and when and they take care of all that. Just be aware of your ceremony is on the beach the walk to the alter may be longer than you anticipate. My music was a lil short but no one noticed but me. Lol

@@lizzjameson your photos are gorgeous! You look gorgeous!

We're getting married in December so with daylight savings, wasn't sure if we would lose light for the 5pm ceremony and after photos.

I'm hesitant to pay for the expensive in house photographer and was hoping what came with my Gold package and family/friends photos would be sufficient. Now I'm rethinking things.

Thank You @@nyarcher1215 I'm thinking you should be ok with the light but look online for typical sunset times for playa Mujeres in Dec and it should give you a better idea.

And I completely understand! You don't really know what you're getting until you see the photos and they are super diligent about Only giving you ACTUAL Ceremony photos with the gold package and NOTHING else. It was so tough! For what I paid I could have brought a photographer with me but I've seen friends photos who did have the great shits we did! And of course they know they e got you when they are amazing and they charge you like crazy for them! Maybe just budget extra to buy the additional photos if you end up wanting more. I didn't plan for the $2,000+ I ended up spending but I can honestly say it was worth it after seeing them. You'll see when I post them all. Jesus did a fabulous job!

@@nyarcher1215 that's why I brought my photographer from home. It was so worth it. I got 3 days instead of just one day.

My friends uses the beach studio for a photo shoot they did a great job. But for me I am a photo person so I just couldn't see paying for 1 day and for a little more I got 3 days.

I ordered these from a company in Mexico and they shipped them to Yanin at the resort. They are hand made authentic maracas out of wood, hollowed out dried fruit and river rock and hand painted to your specifications. They were a HUGE hit the entire night with Everyone!!! I was shocked! The entire group danced the night away shaking them around like they gave them dancing confidence or something. Lol it was great!!! And they all loved their souvenir!

@@lizzjameson You looked gorgeous and your pics came out great! I was nervous about the in house photographer, but seeing yours made me feel better!

Did you have to pay extra for the lanterns that were on the aisle for your ceremony?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
