Do I Have Enough Stuff For The Oot Bags?

Recommended Posts

I had to fight tooth and nail for some kids stuff haha. My fiance was like "whatever, they're kids, they'll have fun anyway on the beach". I wanted to put some coloring books and beach balls, maybe some sand toys. He didn't grow up by the beach, whereas I did, so he doesn't know that while the beach is pretty fun, it's also nice to have things to play with. We settled with just the beach balls. There's only 2 kids at our wedding so I don't even know why he was so pig headed about it  hahah  <_<. I'll probably sneak in some sand toys if they fit in the luggage

Like all the ladies before me I think you have lots. Everyone's bags are different and our guest will love them. I was not going to do a OOT bag. I'm just doing a bubba and a key holder. :)

Your OOT bags sound great!  I think your guests will love them!

We went fairly simple on ours too and everything was really appreciated.  We gave separate OOT bags to the kids and they all played w/ the things inside of them: sand toys, sunglasses, books, colouring set, some small toys ($1 bin at target!), a cup of their own.  Prob cost about $10 each for the kids ones total.  The sand toys were used by the kids and really appreciated by the adults.  We had a few teens and we just gave them the same as the adults minus the hangover kit, key holder on a lanyard, and boogey boards that we found for cheap

We are also putting a custom maraca on each plate at the reception and custom fans at each chair for the ceremony, so guests will keep those, too.

Best thing I brought? Snorkelling sets for the kids. We spent more time at the pool than the beach and they used them there. They never got out of the pool and their swimming skills grew 100%.

Best money ever spent for us too. We spend so much time snorkeling when we go down that it actually makes up for all the food we eat haha

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
