I know for sure that I am going to be getting married at Las Caletas, but I don't know where is the best location to have my goes stay at. I want a hotel that is in the middle of everything with good prices. I just got back from Puerto Vallarta and looked at a few places but I need to get a group rate for my goest. I want to know where other people have gotten good deals or where their guest are staying who are having their wedding at Las Caletas?

Thanks !!

Do you have a travel agent? What about talking to them if you do have one? if not, I would absolutely look at getting one. You could get in touch with the agents affiliated with this site - Wright Travel. they're destination wedding specialists and have access to tons of info on resorts. Maybe even some little extras depending on the resort you choose. Wouldn't hurt to get in touch with them and see if they can help you out.

Good luck and happy planning!

Hello! We are getting married in Las Caletas in January 2016... we booked with Sunset Plaza. I wanted something central and something not too expensive for our guests. They have normal rooms & suits too so if your guests do want to spend a little extra and get a nicer room they would have that option. The hotel has good reviews so hoping it's a nice place!

Has anyone stayed there before?

Thank you Christina! That would be awesome!

Apparently the hotel is completely booked.. no rooms left and my wedding is 10 months away! That's pretty quick, but I guess it is a smaller resort (100 rooms I think) so if anyone plans to book there make sure you do it early as if there is another wedding there ... it will book up pretty quick. We managed to get most of our guests booked so at least most of us were able to stay together.

My fiance and I are going for two weeks and were thinking of staying somewhere else the second week ... either a different resort in PV or somewhere else close by... does anyone have any suggestions??

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
