OKAY ladies I am still waiting to be assigned a WC!!! I was wondering who everyone who is booked with Moon Palace is choosing for their Videography and photography. I feel like DreamArt is over priced. But It seems like that might be my only options as it would be too expensive to pay the outside vendor fee $800. Is there a top secret one that Moon Palace approves but fail to mention to us at first. Once I get my WC I am hoping she will help with this. But if you are going through this now how did it work for you.

Hi @@priscilla31185 when did you sign your wedding contract? I can check on my timeline in terms of when I received my offsite wedding coordinator.

 

As for approved photographers, I'm afraid it's only dreamart for now. Check your contract to see if the outside photographer vendor fee is $800. There was a period of time when the fee was $400 while the other vendor fees were $800.

@@Wafflesmom I just received my coordinators name this week Nayeli. My contract doesn't state the vendor fee, just says that their is one for outside vendor ugh   I have decided to go with Luckie Photography. He has been a joy to deal with and I am happy I got him. I am hoping to speak with my coordinator on the phone today, hopefully she can help me understand the process.

I'm getting married at Azul Beach Hotel on Feb 26, 2016 and I thought it would be great to start our very own thread. I would love to hear from 2014/15 Azul Beach Hotel brides. It can be a good place to find info on booking a wedding there and hopefully we can be a resource to others.

 

I already hire the Makeup & hair services(NormA Zurama from MAC); My BF married last year and I loved her stylist.

 

I´m checking to Lucky photographer, any good recommendation?

@@priscilla31185 I'm so glad you were assigned your wedding coordinator! That's strange that your contract doesn't give you the specific vendor fee amount. Maybe that's a new thing?!?! Well I hope Nayeli is able to help you out.

 

And I'm glad you found a photographer! Our photographer was one if the first vendors I booked, I couldn't risk having him already booked for another wedding

You are so right I have the DJ and the Photographer and videographer booked. I am like you and those were super important to me.

Don't let the vendor fees scare you. Once you start contacting outside vendors you'll learn that they can be cheaper even with the vendor fees. Also many outside vendors give special discounts to Palace Brides because of these fees. For DJ we hired dj discomovil, saves us almost $1000. For photography we hired Ivan Luckie gives us more for 8 hours at a lesser cost what dream art provides for three hours. For videography we hired love works cinemas.
