Eye Lash Extensions - Yes Or No?

Hi Girls,

I am now 4 months out from my wedding. I am really considering getting eyelash extensions done but should I try getting them done now and keep getting them filled or wait a little longer until it's only like a couple months away from the wedding? Also I am a little scared because I have heard people say before that the eye lash extensions make your real lashes shorter and more sparse. Is this true? I don't have a whole lot of natural lashes there to begin with.

 

What do you girls recommend? Have any of you had an experiences with lash extensions - good or bad?

hey @@calgarybride2015 yes I seen that but I wanted to get a few opinions on people that have had experience. I just wanted to make sure it was the right decision for me before I decided to commit to getting them done.

I got them done for my cultural wedding in June. I did go in about three weeks beforehand to try them and make sure I didn't have an allergic reaction. I really liked them and don't regret it but they did make my eyelashes short and sparse. They are only getting to be back to pre wedding condition now

I'm worried about them getting sparse, but I guess looking stellar on the day you're going to have your pictures taken a million times is worth a month or two of stubby lashes, right?

Not to me!!! I had no eyelashes for awhile and it wasn't ok lol I was very self conscious. And she has been waiting 6 months as she mentioned June.

 

There are alternatives like the glue ones. I assume they do some damage but likely

Not as much.

I have heard lattisse is an amazing solution too- and doesn't cause damage to existing lashes. I will do one or the other!

I think it's a prescription serum that you put on your eyelashes to make them grow.

 

I'm currently using this Rimmel Lash Accelerator Serum that you can get at drug stores that some people swear produces the same results, but I don't think I remember to use it consistently enough to vouch for the results yet, but I'll try to be better about using it every day and report back!
