Riu Package Extras

Hello Ladies!!!

I am very new to this and am looking for help. I have never been to a destination wedding but have had lots of advice from other friends who have.

My question is... is there any way of getting my hands on the extras that the RIU Palace in Cabo has before I speak with my wedding coordinator. We are just trying to make up a budget and I only can access the package pricing for their 3 packages that they offer.

If anyone could please help me out. Even if you are a bride that could forward me the email that would be great.

Thanks a million ladies

I responded to your earlier post.  I'm in the same situation and have been trying to obtain information and work out a budget.   So far here's some other information that I've found and/or obtained from other Riu brides...

Here's the link to the Riu Palace photographer:

The Riu Palace florist:

I contacted them through their website inquiring about pricing yesterday and still waiting for their response.

I'm getting married at the Riu Santa Fe (price was better for our guests) in July. I have the Palace extras list for 2014 that they originally sent me when beginning to plan my wedding. It was sent to me as a PDF so I'm not sure how to share it on here? If you want I can email it to you. Let me know if you have any other questions!

@@toriw83 and @@sbodnar4 I emailed the both of you some additional information that I received from Ana Maria today.  @@toriw83 I am using Teresa Stauring from Vacations 4 Less (Los Angeles, CA) after hearing so many great things about her on this forum.  After speaking with her and emailing, I knew she was someone I definitely wanted to work with.  She has been very helpful, responsive and has answered all my questions via email and phone.  There was instance when I emailed her on a Saturday afternoon thinking I would get a response the following Monday.  She responded immediately and from that I can tell she is very dedicated to her clients. I'm glad that there are other Riu Palace brides so we can help each other out.

@toriw83

We are using Apple Vacations. I would definitely recommend using a Travel Agent. A lot of our guests have reached out to Apple with a wide variety of questions (both prior to booking and after). They provide a room discount if you book your flight through them. They also provide transportation to and from the airport (which I'm sure most places do). I couldn't imagine having all of our guests book on their own and then having them asking us questions that we may not have answers to! I think having a Travel Agent takes away some of the stress! Also, there is an Apple representative at the resort for any on sight questions.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
