My Wedding Shoes. Show Us Yours...

Recommended Posts

Love your shoes @@tygrrlily!!!! Super Cute!!! I think it was your post that reminded me to try on the Landmark. Thanks!!! ;)

I purchased both and had them shipped to my house so I could walk around in them for a bit to see how they feel. I didn't find the Landmarks uncomfortable as I wear similar heels pretty much everyday but I did find the strap a little loose though. And the heel actually seemed short to me, I'll want them a smidgen taller (I guess I like hooker shoes). LOL But I think the Giovanna ones are going to will work better with my dress. Still debating and on the lookout for shoes.

Haha I have wide feet so I had the opposite problem - the straps were all digging into my skin making it extra painful.  If you can go higher than go higher!! I'm impressed.  I always see pics of girls wearing 120mm heels and I can't even imagine that :)

The ones I loved were from Aldo. Canadian store was out and USA store wouldn't ship to a USA address for me because of a Canadian credit card... Sigh!

Don't you hate that!! What's wrong with visa here compared to visa in the US? We've had so many issues with that over the years. We actually drove to Niagara Falls one day to go to toysrus to get a gift card to go online and buy a highchair and pack and play when my grandson was born just because we couldn't use a Canadian credit card to have it delivered to them in Pennsylvania. it's really stupid sometimes.

I agree, it's ridiculous. They took pay pal but he told me that wouldn't even work. I never thought of the gift card -- good idea although it shouldn't be necessary!!!

That drives me crazy! I've really realized how hard it can be to order from the USA during my wedding planning. They either don't send to Canadian address or they don't take our cards. Life can be so hard :) Edited by Kayla88

Ugghh... Nordstrom does this to me every time. My store had their private shopping event last night and I found these bad boys. I had been eyeing these for awhile but when I saw them in person, I knew I had to have them. LOVE THEM!!! I think these will be my shoe (until I see another one). I ended up not liking the material on the Giovanna's.

@@kcole123 These are GORGEOUS!  I'm going to be wearing barefoot sandals like these during my ceremony on the beach, but I'd love to get wedges like those for more formal pictures and the reception (I could run a marathon in wedges but can't walk 5 feet in heels!)

I'm only 4'11" so I'm going to need some height assistance from my shoes. Right now, I'm looking at both of these but I'm still deciding.

I kick the ones on the left better. I love bling but id be worried that the vertical stripe on the ones on the right are too long for my foot and it would end up bunching up all night. It's probably proportional to the size of the shoe but Maybe try them on and see :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
