I LOVE long dresses, but I was worried my girls would be too hot, but this has a slit pretty far up the side to "air them out"

 

I got my two flower girl dresses online at David's Bridal for 50% of markdowns, which ended up being $20 a piece with free shipping!  They're still having that sale now if anyone is interested!

My girls are all wearing teal and I said I want above the knee length. I was encouraging everyone to get what they want bc I wanted them to feel comfortable. I also like the way mismatched dresses look in photos. But one of the girls copied the other one, but just picked a diff shade of teal. I was annoyed but it wasn't worth the hassle to me of saying something.

This is an old thread, but most recent I can find on BM dresses. What did/have you picked for your maids? Where did you get the dresses? Please post!

 

I'm struggling a bit, as we all live in different cities (as well as different countries - US & Canada), so we will never be able to go shopping together. I was planning on choosing a color from David's and letting them pick their own dress, but I'm not in love with the color options at David's. Online, I've looked at Macy's, Nordstrom's, The Bay, Sears, BLHDN, J. Crew, Ann Taylor.

 

I just found Weddington Way and requested a swatch from Alfredo Angelo. Could be a good option, as they have lots of styles in the same fabric & color. I need to investigate Target a bit more - they have what looks like a decent color (and good prices), but I'm not sure how accurately the color is representated and also not sure about the quality of the dresses.

 

I'm looking for: Teal; Short; Chiffon or other light fabric. I think the major issue is the color. I'm finding that most colors are either blue or green (rather than kinda in the middle), or they are too light or too dark. I sound like Goldilocks.
