Hi! I'm planning a wedding in Mexico in July 2015. It will be held at a private villa in Puerto Aventuras. I'm currently looking for a wedding planner, along with details on great live bands, DJs, catering options and photographers from people who know the area.  Any suggestions?

Are you planning on holding your wedding at a resort or in an off site venue? If you are looking at a resort, you will want to nail down your location first... And then look at what vendors they use/approve before looking at additional vendor options since in most cases extra costs come into play when using outside vendors that aren't already approved.

Here are my suggestions in 5 years in the Riviera Maya, google them:

 

DJ:

Both performe amazing and lights are great! I see in my pictures compared with others

  • Disco Movil Cancun
  • Doremixx

 

Make Up artists:

These 3 are impressive, the last one work for TV and Movies as well, If he is there, It's for some big reason!

  • The Make Up Pros
  • Stying Trio
  • Carlos Merino

 

Photographers, according to my Mom, I am the best  ;)

Arenika is ok, but if you are looking for a beach club wedding, I would recommend Blue Venado. Great beach, totally private, excellent service, we really love it there! The palapa is gorgeous and the food is great, really can't say enough good things about Blue Venado Weddings.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
