Looks beautiful!

Thanks @@IzzyDeee !

I should make my final decision between Riu and Royalton white sands by the end of next week.

But I look forward to hear from your wedding experience. I am sure it will be magical.

We are also getting married at the Royalton. When are you looking to book? I can recommend our travel agent to anyone interested. She is amazing! She has gone above and beyond for my Fiance and I. She is actually from Jamaica and specializes in Jamaica weddings.

Hi Breena!

Congrats on your engagement and good luck planning.  I'm a newbie, planning for my wedding in Ocho Rios in June 2016.  I decided to go with the newly renovated Moon Palace.  RWS had been suggested to us, but decided to go with MPJG.  We've been to MoBay and wanted to do somewhere else closer to tours.  I'm excited as I know you are...good luck!

@1weddinggirl

Actually, I didn't have any problem reserving my date.  The one thing I can suggest is try to find a wedding specialist that can book your flights included in the package deal.  I have noticed that a lot of my guests were turned off from the package because they could find cheaper deals that included flights through other travel agencies.  Good luck!

Checking in to see if there are any new 2016 brides out here. It seems like there has not been a new post in about a month so thought I'd try to reinvigorate the conversation.

I am getting married at Iberostar Suites in Montego Bay in August 2016 and just decided on a travel agent. So now I feel like all the planning is really starting for us. WOndering what some other brides are workign on (or stressing about) as we prepare to finish out 2015 and move into the big year... :wub:

Hi Moni240, I'm new to this website. Just got engaged in October 2014 and am looking into getting married at Iberostar Suites in Montego Bay September 2016. I'm torn because I want a place that includes really nice weddings so I can then just add onto my package but it seems like you have to pay for every single thing at Iberostar? Has anyone had their wedding at the Hyatt or Royalton Sands or even Beaches in Negril? Any advice anyone had to offer would be a great help!

Congratulations qhe19. We chose the Iberostar Suites because it is a nice hotel but also offered a more affordable let option at the Beach or adults-only option at the Grand. It also seemed like the basics were covered in their paid packages and you were able to manage other activities (ie. Semi-private dinner, informal welcome reception and cocktail hour) for free with a little "creativity". Hope you find a location that you love. Keep is posted as to what you decide.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
