My fiancé and I finally decided on a destination wedding and just booked Moon Palace Cancun for October 2015. I'm so excited but feeling a little overwhelmed with doing all the planning from a distance! When I first looked at their wedding packages I thought the resort had most of the vendors (flowers, music, photographer) on site but now I feel like that's not the case and I'm a little confused. The wedding coordinator emailed me 2 weeks ago to set pubs phone call and I haven't heard back since I told her when I was available. I'm hoping to get a lot of my questions answered when I talk to her but any advice on how this all works would be appreciated!
Hi @colleentf09! I'm also a Moon Palace bride; my wedding is just a few months after yours. They have quite a few vendors and I can't say I'm well versed on all of them but I will say that this forum is really helpful. There's also a Facebook group for Palace brides that's really great. A lot of the vendors, past and future brides and even wedding coordinators are on there and typically reply right away to any questions you may have. Basically I've been addicted to this site and the Facebook group.
I've also been quite fortunate to have such a wonderful offsite Palace resorts wedding coordinator. They have over 180 weddings every year so keep that in mind when the response time is delayed. They are really knowledgeable so hopefully you'll hear back from yours soon.
